A tea bag is a small, porous silk, paper or nylon bag with tea inside that is used for brewing tea. It consists of two parts, the tea and the bag. The tea remains inside the bag as the tea is brewed, making it easier to dispose of without making a mess.
tea leaves are just leaves

Tea bags contain tea dust which is really low grade tea. Tea leaves are the real thing, but only if they have not been mixed with some other leaves.

Tea leaves make a stronger tea, but most people don't like it too strong and the tea bag is modern quick and good, nothing worse than getting a tea leaf stuck on the tongue he he, seems outdated now.

That's generally true, but there are exceptions. It's still much easier to buy good loose-leaf tea than it is to buy good tea in bags, but there's been a recent attempt to market high-end bagged teas that are quite good indeed. Some of them are made of fancy sorts of heat-resistant plastic instead of paper. Naturally, they cost somewhat more than just buying loose tea, but some feel that the convenience is worth it. I generally buy tea in tins (Twinings Earl Grey is an old favorite) or loose in bags from a specialty tea place. If you're buying very exotic tea, like Lapsang Souchang, you're better off buying it loose from a proper tea seller than at the supermarket.

The tea in bags is usually tea dust. Tea leaves are coarser grade sometimes whole leaves of tea. Teabags make stronger more tannic tea for a quick cup of tea. Leaves are for teapots and deliver a more mellow refined taste.

Tea bags (unless they burst) are cleaner and easier to make just a cup of tea, eliminating the need to go through the process of warming the pot, measuring, straining and when finished with emptying and washing the pot.

With the bags you are sure of the correct measure and you can just pop it in the cup or mug, pour on water, stir and discard. Much quicker.

You'd know the difference if you were "tea bagged" verses tea leaves.

tea bags are quick you can put them in a cup for a brew less less,

tea leaves are lose not in a bag, you take two tea spoons of tea leaves and put them in a pot,
leave to stand for a minute (brew) then place a strainer over your cup to catch the leaves as you pour your drink.

so say leaves are better then bags, but to be honest i think they are just as good,

so leaves come lose

tea bags are measured in a sack for one drink.

hope this helps kind regards x kitti x
