It depends on where you live.If you live where the temperature stays relatively warm all year around,i.e. Florida,California,Arizona, etc, then it should be OK.You should put roosting boxes in the flight cage, though,so they can huddle together if it gets chilly at night. You also have to consider the possibility that a predator could get into the cage ( snake) or break it open, and eat your birds.

I agree, it does depend where you live.

It is winter that you usually have to be careful about, if it snows or is exceptionally cold where you live, then the birds have to either live inside during that time or you need to install covers and heating for your aviary.

Either have boxes or a small room within the aviary with perches where they can choose to retreat to if the weather is harsh. Many will prefer to sleep in these at night.

Make sure the aviary is facing where it can get some sun during the day, and isn't facing right into the bad weather.

On really hot days, make sure the birds have something to bathe in (actually make sure they have something to bathe in year-round), and mist them with water with a spray bottle.
