because they're afraid of rejection. because sadly we have constructed gender roles, and since the day we're born we're exposed to them. like if a baby is gonna be born and it's a boy they buy him blue things, girls pink.. you always tell a little boy that "men don't cry" and sadly they grow up with it.

I hope that everybody sees that we are all human, we all have emotions and it's ok to express them.

I think it's because historically, it has been the woman's area to express emotions. When a man does, he can be called wimpy or gay...yet when women want the man to express emotions and he doesn't, then he's rude and crude. It makes no sense, right? Also, by nature, men just don't function as emotionally as women do. It has been biologically proven that the brains of women and men are slightly different in certain areas. This explains a LOT!!!

the ones i been with had no trouble expressing emotions. you gotta open up that barrier, once they are really comfortable with you they will express every emotion they have. and once they fall madly in love with you and heads over heels for you they will cry in front of you to show u how much they love u. men can be mushy too!

Because most men think that showing any feeling or emotion makes them not men...This is because of their image of men whether by their fathers example or what they see elsewhere.

it particularly is called gender stratification. Our society is patriarchal, meaning that it particularly is administered by way of adult men and the adult men are the "rulers" of the domicile, in case you will. Our adult men are raised to instruct much less thoughts by using fact, in simple terms, there are greater significant issues to be stricken approximately. Gender stratification is a poor concern--we predict our adult men to bypass into the militia, to grant for the kinfolk, etc.--and as a effect numerous adult men go through for it. it particularly is society's fault.
