This woman is saying she's a psychic, but I've seen her mess up on TV plenty of times. She looks like every other swindler out there--long red nails, huge hair, odd clothes, and 10lbs of makeup to cover the wrinkles. When she messes up, she tries to cover it and act like it didn't happen. And she says that there's no evil spirits out there, but says there are only good spirits. The worls thrives on balance, so that couldn't possibly be true.

Any real psychic treats it as a gift--they don't ask money for helping people. If someone really cares, they wouldn't ask money to help people out. That would be like a charity asking the poor for money! And they're regular people living regular lives--not getting millions off of Montel and books that all repeat the same things.

My mother-in-law swears by her every word. What do you guys think? Real? Or an old lady just trying to make some cash?

See, I believe is psychics, but they're everyday people-- not getting payed for it, just doing it for themselves and such. And they are rare, and Sylvia isn't one of them. Here's proof, thank you Kotaro!

I don't believe anything she says. Psychics are full of bologna -- all of them. Anything they have to say is too vague or too hard to prove.

Sylvia Browne gives her predictions in such a way that leaves people with little opportunity to challenge her. Most people quietly accept her little blunders and/or she will deny that she is mistaken by saying stuff like "no honey... blah blah blah" and then takes a position of authority.

Check out Sylvia Brown's horribly wrong predictions here:

Check out James Randi's paranormal challenge at the site below. He's offered $1 Million to anybody who can prove ESP or any other supernatural ability or phenomenon. Nobody has even come close to claiming the prize.

There are rules against using such gifts for personal gain. And yes there are evil spirits....I've seen a few. Instead of beLIEving in some one who is a fraud into it for the money try to enhance or learn your own abilities.

I saw Sylvia in person about 8 yrs ago. I really thought she was real, and I've also seen her screw up on t.v.. I think she is so full of sh*t. I can't stand to watch her , she acts like a know it all with a major attitude. She's a total fake.

well everything in America is money and nothing is free, so she can fool people why not, their are people who believe in these things and depend on it to make decision, donot care how much report they bring out that these people are not real, there is always people who is going to use these people. i believe in psychic but Slyvia is rediculous because she don't always know everything and lies to the audience, instead of sayin that she do not know she makes things up, now i think she all bout money.

People believe her because they are in search of answers. They feel lost, and they take whatever she says and turn it into the truth the were looking for. Gotta hand it to her though, she's making big bucks feeding on the weak and vulnerable.

She is a fake.

She makes over $700 per half hour doing over the phone readings.
Yeah, she has good cover-ups for her mistakes, doesn't she?

You said it when you called her a swindler. Right on!

She is a scammer that preys off the weak and vulnerable, those people looking for answers to the desperate questions they have. My Dad swears by her too and it drives me crazy!!!

Tell a man the truth that he doesn't want to hear and he'll call you a liar. Tell a man a lie that he does want to hear and he'll call you a prophet.

Sylvia fulfills a fantasy for some.
