Wow, most of your answerer's are clueless! Hi Miriam!

Yes, my brother, no doubt!

ALL who ever believed on Him will be taken to the presence of God. Where we will behold Him with our tear filled loving eyes and join the mighty chorus singing "worthy is the Lamb that was slain, to receive glory, honor, praise, worship, etc..."

But ALL who rejected Him will be cast where there is darkness, weeping and gnashing of teeth, eternal burning!

Oh doubters, LISTEN! WHAT IF YOU ARE WRONG? you have A LOT to lose. You soul will be damned forever. If I am wrong I have nothing to lose.

Please repent and look to Jesus - LOVE INCARNATE!

I believe in some sort of afterlife. I don't know what it is like though. I read a study actually that demonstated proof of the effectiveness of prayer, which to me points to a higher power. I always liked the idea that the afterlife will be like in What Dreams May Come, with the afterlife being different for each person, a reflection of your dreams.

Yes, no question. It is a place where we will no longer be limited by the physical restrictions of our earthly bodies. We will also all be imparted with great wisdom, and a complete understanding of all the intricacies of creation. We will be reunited with those who have passed on before us, while awaiting those whose lives on Earth are still not finished. I use to be an atheist, and for a while, an agnostic. I'm not a member of any church, nor do I consider myself religious. However, I've finally waken from my previous misconceptions, based on some personal real life experiences, that not only showed me a "glimpse" of the other side, but forever changed the way I want to live the rest of my life here on Earth. Those who believe, don't believe, or aren't sure about a life beyond this one, will all be pleasantly surprised about what lays just beyond the veil. All the misconceptions will be cleared away, and all universal truths will be revealed. Death, like birth, is simply like stepping through a door, from one room, to another.

I don't believe in an afterlife in the sense of like a Christian afterlife. But I do believe in a "God" or creator, maybe even creators. I believe there are different stages of life in general. Our soul takes different forms and can enter different vessles. After we die I believe our souls go home and prepare for what is next.

i believe that there MIGHT be one, but i'm open to it not being there. if there is an afterlife, i believe it is probably created in our own dreams and fantasies. kind of like a holographic room, or the matrix. heaven cant be the same for everyone. i mean, the quran says that there are tons of virgins, and i dont want virgins, i would only want my family. so i guess it's up to personal interpretation.

it probably doesnt really matter what it is anyway. if we spend our lives worrying about it, we would have wasted it.

oh, uh,, the bible speaks about the afterlife. I have gone through what the bible says (acts 2 and 38) and have felt teh quickening power of God take over my body. I know the bible to be true by my own experience.

I don't believe in an afterlife. But, to me, heaven would be pizza every day. Wait a minute--I'm already in heaven!

I don't. Jesus ressurected people on earth, not in some blissfull cloud like place. Can you imagine, dying, going to an amazing place with no worries, no badness, just happiness all around, and then someone comes and drags you back to live your life on earth? What's the point? God's purpose for mankind was to live on earth, not in heaven. When we die, we return to dust as God said, but our names are written in the 'Book of Life" and when Jesus starts ressurecting people we shall live again. Other than that, I believe the statement in Ecclesiastes, "The dead know nothing."

There can be no afterlife because there is no death. There's only a quick stopover in la-la land, a change of clothes, then whatever the heck you make of your next phase of 'being.'
