No, it was used in a crime!
Believe it or not, even shooting the BB gun in some areas is considered firing a firearm within city limits.
Time for a new BB gun.

Most likely not. The BB gun will be considered evidence used to facilitate the offense, the same as a knife used to stab someone or a bat used to beat someone. The item will most likely be destroyed.

It is an offence to have any firearm in a public place, and under UK law an air weapon (and yes airsoft guns are air weapons) count as firearms. If the police are called then depending upon who reports it and what they say you could face a full on fire arms unit responce, and they will treat the guns as real until they know otherwise.
