The time-tested Great Religions (Hinduism, Judaism, Buddhism, Christianity and Islam) aren't enough?
The first thing about johnny-come-lately cults that spring to mind is: what has God been doing until now? Seems a bit late for new religions to justify themselves.
The Heaven's Gate cult was obviously whacked out. They're gone and we're still here. The end of the world has, yet again, not materialized.

Any religion that starts talking about UFOs or pyramid power or anything that kooky is bad news. They are only one step away from handing out the poison koolade. Sadly, most of the Heaven's Gate cult died.

Were they the ones with the sneakers who were trying to contact aliens? (I didn't look at the link) Like any other cult, I'm sure that they were not too bright to be brainwashed by the idiotic schemes involved.

I think that alien saucer took them somewhere.....most likely to hell and it wasn't exactly an alien saucer that delivered them there now was it? And it IS just another prophecy being fulfilled...That there will be false christs near the end times. I didn't watch the video, sorry, but I sure do remember them with those nike shoes on and all.
