im not sure cuz ive never had sex but i would think it would be different for different people.....
different factors as well, but if you are afraid or have second doubts about it then it isnt the right time...you dont have to go for the guy who asks first you can wait!!

only when you dont use a condom; which you should the first time around just to be safe. Not using the condom will hurt because the penis isnt lubricated like the condom would be and it will be more forceful putting it in the first time around.
