The Bible is written in Parable. What can we learn from this? Its a story to teach. There is a lot of confusing things in the Bible. I believe it best to ask God to help you understand what you are reading. I believe he reveals what he wants us to understand.

Well, that's easy- the devil apparently was more powerful than Jesus- powerful enough to kidnap him, take him to the top of the temple and an exceedingly high mountain. And yeah, the world was so flat, he could see everything from here to kingdom come. I guess the world is still flat for some . . . or is that their intellect? Oops! Did I say that?

Jesus was taken in Spirit.
You previously asked a question concerning the view that the Earth was flat. It was answered.
It seems as if you have an obsession.
Many years ago, EVERYONE thought the world was flat...not just Christians. This was proven wrong. Guess what, dude?
Many scientists were Christians.

Well you have to keep in mind in the times of Christ there were not many known kingdoms. If you want to go litterally I am not sure that is very possible. But keep in mind that the Bible is full of alot of figurative speech and it could mean that the devil took him to a mountain where he could have him alone to "show" him possibly in mirrage type form the different kingdoms of the world to tempt him into giving up his role as Savior and trading it for wealth and power.

"and sheweth him". You should really get a modern bible if you don't understand King Jamesian. Trust me, I could show you "all the kingdoms of the earth" right now in my apartment with a thing people like to call an atlas.

Yeah, it is probably just a story with some wonderful spiritual lessons.
But on a side note, after 40 days of fasting and sleeping in the desert, I think any one of us would have had a similarly fantastic spiritual journey like this.

It could have been a visionary experience. On the other hand, it could simply be a matter of hyperbole. The point is that Satan offered Christ the kingdoms of the world in return for worship.

Study some english! Take can also mean "accompany". And you yourself can see all the kingdoms of the world on your TV set. Do YOU believe the world is flat?
Your argument proves nothing.
Is it possible?
