OR WILL I GO TO HELL?

yes, God is not religion. Faith in Him transcends religion - it is truth. I do not regard myself as a religious person - I see myself as a worshipper of God, a follower and lover of Christ. I live by His Word, for freedom is what I have and Christ has set me free. Religion is manmade, faith comes from God the Spirit.

of course it's ok!! religion and spirituality is totally a personal thing and u can believe in anything u want. don't let anyone tell u that u are going to hell, coz no one has that right. in the end it all depends on u and what u believe. and there are so many religions and so many faiths and so many interpretetions of the "holy books", and all of them claim to be the one and only "right" faith. u see, either there isn't any absolute right or wrong about these things, or it's just what u believe. so if u believe in god without believing in any religion, and if it's working for u, stick with it!

Some Xtians say that they have no Religion - instead, they have "spirituality", or a "personal relationship" with their godman Jesus Christ. It should be noted, however that the Bill of Rights (to the US Constitution)doesn't protect this type of "relationship", it protects religion and its organizations! Neither does the IRS give tax exemptions for this type of relationship -- I think it's way past time for these folks to begin to backpedal furiously on this one before they go over the proverbial cliff!!

This concept also goes over the heads of some Witches, who say they don't believe or have any need for the God/dess, and that they just do magick!. But then, witches, especially British Traditionals, have had doctrines and practices that often lead to organizational extinction ...

Absolutely! "Religion" may fail you. It is often based solely on man's beliefs, what they pick and choose from the bible, etc. For this reason you have those that become dictators, hypocrites, pedophiles, righteous bigots, chauvinists, the list can continue because they view scriptures their way. God, however, will not fail you when you have a close personal relationship with him. Work out your own salvation by reading scriptures and praying. Always watch that your pride and self-righteousness doesn't cause you to become any of those listed above. And try to fellowship with others so they can help you build on a firm foundation.

God was around long before religion was, so yes, that is okay. But, there is good to be said about religion, also. You can meet and learn from others who believe like you. You can grow in strength and knowledge about the Bible and it's author. You can find support when you feel week in your walk with God. You can find friends who will pray with you when you need it. Think about it!!
People go to Hell because they have not asked Jesus Christ to "save" them. That happens when the person acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, He lived and died for our sins, and that Jesus is the only way we can get though to Heaven. God graciously gives us this gift for free. We just have to ask, believing it is true, and it will be done.

Read what Jesus said about religion! He said religion is like whitewashed tombstones, beautiful on the outside but filled with dead men's bones. Religion is a man-made structure, a personal relationship with God is divine. Read your Bible. Pray unceasingly. Do everything you can to find a good Bible-believing church. But if you think being Catholic or Presbyterian or Babtist or Methodist or whatever will get you to heaven, you are sorely mistaken. If you are asking persmission NOT to worship your religion or even to fully trust it, permission granted.

You got it brother! God doesnt change. Most religions have and are about their own dogma and self preservation. Religion can cause a lot of conflict in peoples lives. God doesnt want you to have conflict. Continue your journey in peace and love of your fellow man. Dont get caught up in the hatred of others and the self righteousness of religious affiliations.

Yes. Religion is mostly composed of things man has made up. God has made life pretty simple. Love thy God with all of thine heart, Love everyone - enemies included, Believe that Jesus lived, died and was resurrected so that our sins would be washed away by His blood and spread the good news that He is risen and whosoever shall believe in him shall be saved.
Pharisees and Sadducee's were very religious and their rigorous adherence to the rules that they made up were not acceptable and would not earn them a place in heaven.

Yes. Jesus did. Notice the people who Jesus reprimanded the most were the religious elite of his day. He called them "white-washed tombs, full of dead man's bones." Another verse that answers your question is Colossians 2: 8 "See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition...rather than on Christ." Lastly, James 1: 27 tells you what God's religion is--ready...it's not that Jesus tells you to be Methodist or Luthern, or whatever. Here it is: "RELIGION that God our Father accepts...is to look after orphans and ewidows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." In other words, go love people and keep your own life pure in the meantime!

Absolutely. If only people could see the difference between God and Religion. Religion is really the anti-Christ in disguise and a trouble maker.
