According to Judaism, all people are G-d's children. Not in the physical form, of course!!!!

It is talking about how God anointed David to be King over Zion on that day, and how God is now obligated to declare You are My son, I have begotten you this day - meaning he has now crowned David with being King over Israel that day. He has "birthed", or "created" by anointing, a king that day in the person of David.

The title "Son of God" is used all over the Torah (what you call the Old Testament) referring to the Jews, collectively as is often done in the Torah. The Jews are also called God's wife, the Bride of God, and the Son or Daughter of God, collectively. In fact, it was a common greeting among Jews at that time to greet each other that way.

There was nothing that would have got Jesus in trouble for saying such a thing, this is one of many glaring inaccuracies in the New Testament where it says it did get him in trouble. Even claiming to be God wouldn't have got him in trouble - it may have got him locked up in that era's version of a nuthouse, but it was certainly not grounds for the death penalty whatsoever. Again, an inaccuracy in the New Testament, meant to make the Jews look like savage bloodthirsty heathens, calling for the death of Jesus for saying he was the son of God. Never happened. Wouldn't have happened.

Please do not think that the "begotten" there refers to God coming down and impregnating a virgin and producing a man-god. It doesn't. There is nothing like this in Judaism whatsoever. It comes from ancient paganism. The verses that Christians use in the Torah that supposedly point to this are mistranslations and twisted meanings, some of them deliberately done by the Church leaders long ago.

Of course David is a son of God. I am also a daughter of God. See John 1:12. I hope you do.

This mystical suggestion is further supported with Jesus being called the only begotten Son of God. In Psalm 2:7, the Lord said to David: "...Thou art my son: this day have I begotten thee."
Does this mean that God had two sons? Jesus also said that God is not only his Father but also your Father (Matthew 5:45, 48). Luke 3:38 says: "...Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the Son of God."
Who is mentioned in Hebrews 7:3 as like unto the Son of God? It is Melchisedec, King of Salem, as mentioned in Hebrews 7:1. He (Melchisedec) is more unique than Jesus or Adam. Why is he not preferred to be the Son of God? Moreover, Adam did not have a mother or father, but was the first human being created by God and in the likeness of God to exist in the Garden of Eden and on earth. Wouldn’t this give more rights to Adam to be called the Son of God in its truest meaning?

People think Jesus is god but he says “Why do you call me good”? Can god be not good?
I would like to share with you an obvious contradiction between John 3:16, Luke 10:25-28 and Matthew 19:16-17. John 3:16 reads: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten, Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Now let’s read Luke 10:25-28: And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? He said unto him, what is written in the law? How readest Thou? And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself. And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and Thou shalt live.

We are all son's of God. Where do you think did we came from? We need to develop new understandings about ourselves and about God. We need to update the Bible! The Bible is not the source of all knowledge, it is just a compilation of stories by different authors and not really the word of God.

In my opinion in the Bible God acts like a Father of all creatures. We christians believe that we are all children of God . It s our Father. He may call son to any of us.

David was a friend of god...it is written that god said..he is a friend after my own heart...when David killed Bashiba's husband and had a baby with her....the baby was not born alive...David's kingdom was divided...his own children sought to kill him and so he repented of his sins and fell back into god's grace...and since we are all children of god he called him son as well...god said my sheep hear my voice and i know theirs...
