You could get a Wine Tasting Party Kit. They are cheap so you wont have to spend a bundle. It comes with everything you need and even has a book that introduces you to the ins and outs of tasting wine which is good if this is your first party or5 what not. You could also play WINEOPOLY! The wine lovers version of monopoly! Players buy favorite wines, collect bunches of grapes and trade them in for decanters. Good luck with your party. I posted the link for you. Just type in Wineopoly or Party Kit in the search.

first know who your guests are. Then make your choice on the wines you will have for tasting. As for food make sure that what you serve compliments the wine you are serving. Have lots of wine glasses ready maybe rent them . you don't want to mix different wines in the same glass. Nice to have fruits and cheeses with crackers. If you are not sure of the wine and food pairing read the back of the label and usually it will tell you what the wine will go well with. Wine tasting is what it is if your guests just want to get drunk and and are really not wine drinkers then just get wines that are cheaper.

it is best to decide on a them. like pinot noir from across the world. you could have a tasting of stuff from france, oregon, california, etc. see how the different regions taste from each other.

Or do one by price point...say bring a bottle of wine that is $15 or under?

Taste champagne from france vs. all other non-french sparkling wine i.e. cava, asti spumante, sparkling from USA.

Just all depends on what you want to taste.

I bought these for my wife when she had a wine tasting party and she said the girls loved them. Worth a shot to be unique:

I liked the guys first answer. But I would also suggest fun people and some more games. Some cheese and crackers, or other snacks to.
And an invite would be nice. LOL
