My mom wont take me to get properly diagnosed but my counsler says that I am bipolar if not many other things. My mother is bipolar and other mental illlnesses run in my family. How do I convince my mom that this is serious enough that I'm ready to just die if something doesn't change. I need her to open her eyes to her daughter's problems and not just her own. She is under control and I think its time that I am taken care of.

Have your counselor arrange a meeting with her. If your mother is bipolar and she is being medically managed she should not want you to suffer. Maybe having another adult discuss your situation with her will help. Good luck.

You make some excellent points.
How about if your mom were to see your counselor for the next session, with or without you in the room.
Consider calling your counselor ahead of time and asking if this might be a good idea. Then let your counselor make arrangements with your mom.

If you or the counselor can not convince her, maybe she is scared or feels like this is her fault. Do you have other relitives that may help convince her(or maybe close adult friends? They may can help you, or try writing all your feelings, fears, concerns in a letter and giving this to your Mom. I wish you the best!!!
