Hi I'm a 14 year old boy and I'm looking for some type of workout equipment to help me get fit and get some abs. I'm not the fattest person in the world lol but I have some extra stomach I need to work of before abs can start to form. I was looking at the abe lounge but people were saying thats a piece of crap so im not sure. Im looking for a machine to help me lose some of this excess and than help gain abs. Anyone with some ideas please answer as soon as you can. thanks

The main problem here is to get to abs you already have underneath the layer of fat (believe me - anybody who works out at least a little bit have some sort of abs but only a few have low body fat percentage to show them off).
The only thing you have to do is cardio which is the only fat burning exercise. You will see changes first in places with thinnest layer of fat like your face and last in places where the fat layer is the thickest like your belly. To lose weight you have to do it 4-6 times a week for average of 45min -running, jogging, hiking, swimming, elliptical, rope jumping etc -mix them up so you keep your body guessing which will give you faster results.
If you want to spend money buy cardio machine.
When fat starts "melting" you can do crunches or sit ups twice a week.
Remember that diet is 75% of fat loss - eat 5-6 small meals a day so your body gets enough calories when it needs them and doesnt have any extra left to store in fat reserves.

lie on your back with your hands supporting your neck, do your ab crunches only this time have your legs placed on a chair in front of you, do 15 of these then still using the chair with your legs on it ( up to the back of your knees ) you take your right hand and lean it towards your left leg while lifting your leg towards your arm ( vice versa for the left arm and right leg ) do 15 of thest on each side and gauranteed you will notice results this excercise works your middle abs and the side streches of this cruncg help you tone your obliques also hope helpped :)

do about 30-50 sits ups a day and then jog for about 20 mins a day, because the sit ups will make your abs stronger and the joggin will take that fat off so we can see the abs.

depends on how much $$$ you have.
theres this on machine that works with you nerves and it works your abs out for you while you watch tv or do something else.
and theres also the good old crunches and situps. =)
