Both meals have a very special place in my heart. I love a well done end cut of prime rib, well done and eating the herbal crust rub on the meat, or the well roasted skin of the turkey. Either way, both are incredibly delicious. What do you all think?

I think it depends on what you have in mind. If you want to 'feast' on special memories, reflect on good times, good people, good events, perhaps a turkey with all the November trimmings is the answer. If you want just good eats which brings back just good food feelings and some special people then go with the prime rib.
What are you looking for? Just as sometimes french toast and bacon is yummy for dinner instead of breakfast....so can a turkey / trimmings be just as satisfying.
Right now, I'm in the mood for 'good eats'. A succulent prime rib, baked potato and luscious green salad sounds 'heavenly!" (a little creme brulee or strawberry shortcake......oh man..............................)

For me it's Prime Rib. My dad usually gets a free turkey from his company at Thanksgiving and Christmas, and my mom insists on buying one or two when they are really inexpensive. Between our own and spending holiday's with family, we usually have roast turkey with all the trimmings 4-6 times a year. On the other hand, well cooked Prime Rib is a restaurant treat, and we don't go to those type of restaurants very often, maybe once or twice a year.

Love them both but give me the center cut Prime Rib! I need it to moo when I cut it and then load it down with tons of horseradish. However, it you take the horseradish away, I would have to consider the turkey!
