Yes, He does. However, His children are only those who come to Him for salvation and are followers of His Son, Jesus as their Lord and Savior. He tells us that vengeance is His and that He will repay.

Bad things do happen to good people because the bad along with the good has free will. God can not change what He has already given.

When we become saved, we become God's adopted children along with Jesus who is His only begotten child. When we are His child, He will not let anything happen that we can not endure.

When small children are hurt by bad people who have free will, God will punish them, I believe even more severely that anyone else.

God has already done much more than that for us.
He saved us from eternal death by sacrificing his only begotten son Jesus Christ.
Upon being saved he places his mark on us and gives us the Holy Spirit.
Satan can no longer harm us after that.
He can tempt us but he can't hurt us.
Once we were like sheep without a Shepard constantly being attacked by angry wolves.
But then our Shepard found us and took us home where we will always be safe from harm.
The big bad wolves have to get through the Shepard before they can get to us and that just isn't going to happen because the wolves know that if they do that the Shepard will kill them to protect us.
We don't fight to be victorious because we already are.
Satan won the battle but God won the war.
As soon as everybody has had a chance to be saved Satan and his legions will be cast into hell for all of eternity.
But until then we have to do our best to do Gods will and save as many as we possibly can so we can all go home as soon as possible.
God bless you and peace and joy be with you.

Funny you should ask that question while I am in the mist of a storm, yes is the answer sometimes may faith is not up to part especially with the person I am dealing with, it seems as though there is alway's a issue, and I am the blame, and this is not a romantic relationship, this is a manger over a complex building, therefore is best for me to try and get another place in a few months.

He can defend in both situations.
With that it must be understood that most of the troubles we got into was our own fault. Most times we only see the small picture while he sees the end of everything. Whenever he does not defend us in any situation, he who knows the begining to the end knows that that situation is for our good if we stay faithful he will reward us accordingly

I certainly do! We all are His children, but whether we believe that or not is up to us (free will). If we truly believe and have accepted Jesus for our personal savior and put all our faith in Him, He will defend us whenever we need Him.

Yes, wholeheartedly. We however can not set the time frame for His doing so.

As a mother, I am wondering if some child abusers are capable of true repentance and therefore receiving forgiveness.

Yes. I think he kept the Jews alive through everything they've been through, the Holocaust, etc. There have been successful genecides where an entire race has been wiped out.

Sure... just like he defended them during the flood or on 9/11.

yes, he does. But, he also requires us to trust in him. I have had and seen God's divine intervention.

At times he does not deliver. I don't know why. One clue is in Hebrews 11:35
