Recently my boyfriend of about 2 months said "I love you" at the end of our phone conversations. Right when he said those three words i felt butterflies in my stomach and had the biggest smile on my face, so of course i said it back. Since then we've always ended our conversations with i love you. The only thing thats bothering me is Im thinking of asking him how does he know it's truly love that he feels for me. He is the first boy that i have ever said those words to, and i've always felt that saying my first i love you to someone should be mutual. Im so happy when we spend time together. He is the first and last thing i think about day and night. Its crazy because sometimes when we hang out its usually from early morning to 11 pm and i still feel like its not enough. When im with him i feel so taken care of and secure. So is this love that im feeling for him? Should i ask him "How do you know you love me?"

It's too early, hunny. I tihnk you should wait because, 2 months may seem like a lot, but it isnt. At 2 months it the point were your most in "love" or infatuated. Basicly you really start to like that person. I think giving it more time would make it a lot more, "official" so to say. Make it more real because you can say that you have the time spent to prove you love that person, because you've dated for 8 months, 9 months, a year. Give it much more time.

Go ahead and ask him but don't feel bad if he trouble explaining it to you. Sometimes in those relationships where there are a lot of firsts things may be hard to understand, but it's important that people learn how to recognize and to express and be able to discuss their feelings.
