Many creationists believe the Earth is flat because the Bible says the Earth is flat. So I suppose that even though there is a mountain of evidence to suggest that the Earth is round, my belief that the Earth is round is faith based????? I guess the same logic also applies to evolution. Even though there is a mountain of evidence that evolution happens, my belief in evolution is just as faith based as my belief that the Earth is round.

No creationists believe the earth is flat.
The Bible declared the earth to be a sphere in space hundreds of years before scientists discovered this truth when it said in the Book of Job:
"He stretches out the north over empty space
And hangs the earth on nothing. "
Job 26:7

What the? the bible doesnt say the Earth is flat. the bible says the earth is round. there is a lot of science in the bible. A lot of the things in the bible that are scientifically true, were not discoverd by man till thousands of years after the bible was written. for example. Job 26:7 (KJV) 7He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing. well couple hundred years ago. some cultures believed that the earth on this god's shoulder. Job 26:7 is stating that the Earth in space. Earth is just hanging in space on nothing.
And you know what. about stephen Hawkings. You can be the greatest scientist who ever lived. but you will never compare to God. God's word is truth. God knows everything. Evolution is a theory and it has no proof. Carbon dating is as unreliable as satan. Darwin was a christian until the idea of evolution came up. You might not be a christian. But if you think you arent religious and you believe in evolution, you thought wrong. Evolution is a religion. The definition of religion is
1. a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe

God gave us a brain. Science has confirmed this and the earth is roundish. In away I guess you could take it on good faith. Faith in science. Faith in facts. This might sound goofy but things that fly need to be round. Drops of water, volleyballs.
Nature has a way of favoring a circle. Why would the moon be round and the sun be round and us be square or flat. Just think if you dug too deep you'd fall into outer space. All the oceans would have drained off the sides of the earth. Would we have plate tectonics. Heck maybe its flat and just my head is round.

The Earth is round... What are you talking about? How can it be? Do people in Australia walk up-side-down?
The Earth is FLAT like a pancake! Just go to the end of the Earth and you'll see a fence (nobody wants you to fall off.) There's a sign on this fence. It says "End of the Earth."
And it's a scientific fact.

It takes absolulety no faith, that is why you should belive the bible before science. The bible never says the Earth is flat. It says God will gather his elect from the four corners of the Earth which is in reference to Jerusalem which is in the center of God's universe. The bible actually says the Earth is round, which is why Christopher Columbus sailed to America not because of science.
"It is he that sits upon the circle of the earth" (Isaiah 40:22).
Science only reveals the truth found in the bible.

Why waste people's time with such an obvious lie? Christians recognize that the earth is round. That's not faith, but mere observation. The only Flat Earthers I know of are just contrary. One is even a judge. So let's have some sensible questions, PLEASE???

no, the Earth being round has absolutely nothing to do with your Faith in our Savior
Faith is being able to stick by His Name no matter what is thrown at you... seeing any challenge as a test and knowing that if you overcome it, your future will be rewarded tremendously... Faith is also believing that God is there for you when you need Him, no matter what;it's true you can't see God in a human form here on Earth, but that doesn't mean He's not there for you

The bible does not explicitly state that the earth is flat.
It does mention 4 corners of the earth, however we also refer to the 4 corners (North, South, East and West).. it doesn't mean that we think it is flat.
This argument is completely false.

You Wrong.
Some 2,700 years ago—long before people in general knew that the earth is round—the prophet Isaiah wrote: “There is One who is dwelling above the circle of the earth.” (Isaiah 40:22)

I would say that the Earth is 'roundish'. It's not a perfect circle after all. And then there are all those depressions and rises along the surface of it.
I don't know any one, Christian or not, who thinks that it is flat.
