You believe everything about your religion completely based on faith and faith alone.
Yet if someone not of the Mormon faith questions or criticizes or points out the flaws in your religion, you demand scientific proof.
Then, if said proof is provided, you scoff it and dismiss it as nonsense and buffoonery.
How can you live like that? What exactly am I missing here? Please try your best to provide straight and to the point answers.

Mormons tend to miss the boat on a lot of things. You could say scientific, historical, factual, and many other kinds of proof. There's not one silver bullet here. Now get back to the point.

So, when Mohammed returns on his Flying Steed, there's going to be an awful lot of backpedaling at the Maxwell Institute. Again.
>>Oh, cookie, your last statement is flawed. I have read the 'Works of St Nibley', while he was scholarly, not too scientific.

You may be missing more than you know. I have all kinds of "scientific" proof that what we believe is true, but after presenting as much evidence as I could to another person who kept visiting anti-Mormon sites, he still asked the same questions all over again. Try coming at it from a Jewish perspective and see what happens. There are all kinds of parallels and proofs if you step out of the "critical" mode and go back to Old World culture and language. Try Hugh Nibley's works. I have yet to meet a single person who read all of Hugh Nibley's works and went inactive. Have a happy day, and I send you a gummy bear.

Theoretically speaking, if said proof was provided, and hypothetically being accurate and true, as to prove the theory in question as false. If such scientist then moved the hypothisis to theory and then to fact, it should, in theory, change peoples minds. Some might have a difficult time accepting that and changing. However, it is possible that said person with said truth is actually with false proof, and would therefore encounter critisim in said proof, and many flaws would be pointed out in said proof, therefore, eliminating said proof as fact, and could only be substantiated as theory.
In non-scientific terms, I would imagine that those who scoff at your proof see that your proof can't be substaniated as fact, which would put your said proof as theory only. I rely soly on the Spirit of God to decern what is true, and not scientific proof.

I am not Mormon, but I do know many Mormons, and I have tried to do that same thing...and never have I been able to give them "scientific proof" that it is flawed....
So maybe the people trying to provide the scientific evidence aren't understanding the scripture correctly.
P.S. what anti-Mormon scientific proof do you have?

I'm not sure if you can scientifically prove that Mormons are wrong but you can prove that their book is historically wrong.
For example, the book of Mormons said there were horses in America before the Europeans settled. There were no horses at all! There are no fossils or drawings or any other hard evidence of horses before the Europeans came to the Americas. Its the same with wheat and metals(besides gold).

Obviously not faith alone
You start with faith, then you gain knowledge. So Somethings are known.
If you are asking a question and you can't back it up with solid evidence then I will not take it as truth.
Having faith in Jesus Christ has always lead me to good and wonderful ends.
I have very little or no faith in anyone on this site or any of their websites.
I do ask for proof of your flaws -- I would be a fool not to.
If you want straight to the point answers then ask good questions that have some meat -- and you can back up.

The point you are missing is that Mormons are individuals and therefore each one is different.
When you say Mormons do this and Mormons say this you are stereotyping all Mormons as being the same. This is wrong.
Every Mormon reacts differently to controversy about their faith.

Only get your information from church approved sources.
Evidences against the church are Anti, and therefore flawed and mean.
Because there is opposition against the church, then it is obviously because Satan knows it is true, and is doing all he can to fight it.
Our apologists are doing a far better job defending Mormonism than Creationists are defending Creationism.
God sent me Warm fuzzy feelings telling me it is true, how can you argue against that?
Plz Cheese and Rice, next time you bash the Mormons get your facts straight.
