Only one in ignorance as i once was. There is no choice. The fetus the embryo these are liveing human beaings. A woman has no more right to chose to abort then we have to murder someone. Either an embryo is a human being or it is not. What is your choice? If the embryo is a human being then there is no choice, if not then party on.
Obviously the embryo is a human being, and as where disregard the sanctiity of human life and as we do not protect the innocents and as more and more are slaughtered this country slides down hill into a moral abyss. We have lost our moral leadership in the world. The nation founded on the codification of the natural rights of man once again does not live up to that legacy, but as with slavery this too shall pass, and we shall regain our moral leadrship, after we reap the consequences of having slaughtered so many innocents.

Yes. Just as a true Christian can be a humanist, or an atheist.
You see, when we say the word "Christian" we have this idea of somebody who always have this "gentle" attitude, and pronounces these set of religious, social, and political beliefs and principles.
In other words, we say someone is a Christian based on how he thinks, speaks, acts, reacts, and so on.
Unfortunately, that is not true Biblical Christianity.
The disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.
Which meant they were, not only folowers of Christ, but people who understood and proclaimed they belonged to Christ.
But, how does one "belong" to Christ ?
By getting sprinkled with water during babyhood, or dunked in water as an adult ? By doing good works and fasting and praying and reading the Bible ?
Works does not make one a Christian. Neither do doctrines, or theologies, or being pro-choice or pro-life.
One is a Christian because one is of the elect of God, those whose names were written in the book of Life from before the foundation of the world, those whom the Father gave to, and draws to Christ.
These are innumerable in number (although the Bible intimates their number is fixed, but then, only God is capable of saying how many stars there are in the universe), and have been on this world since the beginning of time.
They are separated geographically, chronologically, racially, credally, and theologically, these things being but mere manifestations of a fallen world.
The "true Christian" is born unregenerate, by virtue of his being of the fallen race of Adam humanly, but, in due time the Holy Spirit quickens him and causes him to be born again from above, and this is a spiritual process, not visible to the naked eye, which is why Jesus Christ compared being born again to the wind.
This process can take place at anytime, even at the last nanosecond of his life - which he may have lived as pro-choice, or skeptic, or atheist.

"Wonderful you were made in your mother's womb." So no, a true, saved Christian could never murder a child through abortion. All life is given for a specific purpose, and by terminating that life for your own benefit, you are saying that you know better than God what that purpose was. A true Christian is saved by Jesus Christ, and would not harm anyone!

Yes.
Murder is Murder...that I know.
The mother and doctor will be held accountable for their actions.
But, like you said "True" christian.... how can I say the beauty of Christianity is Free will, yet in the next breath take away the free will of that woman.
It's not about being pro-abortion...it's about taking away a choice! A legal choice.
A lot of people get upset when I post this comment, but think about this:
Are you pro-choice for the father of the baby to allow the mom to make the decision all by herself, without him having a say?
We've taken away the man's right to choose about his own baby. Where's his choice?

Sure. I am not going to go that way. Being Pro Life. But I think that being either one doesn't mean that you don't trust God through Jesus Christ, which is why a person is Christian.
People need to define what makes us Christian, and let the other things rest on that.

I was once and I believed that I was. The thing is God gave man free will so I believed wondered who was the government to tell us what to do?
I truly love the Lord and that was what I believed.
Then the Holy Spirit did convict me on this as I recalled something that happened earlier in my life.

I think so. All of us are sinners.
Supporting abortion breaks the 6th commandment. God did not mince His words when he said, "Thou shall not kill". But I don't think it makes you an "un-true" Christian because you sin.
But if your definition of a "true Christian" is one who is perfect and never sins, then the answer to your question would have to be "no". And as we all know, no one but the Lord is perfect.

I don't how anyone can be prochoice regardless of any religion. It is murder no matter how hard people try to hide that fact. If their mothers made that mistake, prochoicers wouldn't be here to spout their oppinions. It's like saying serial killers should be freed because it was there personal choice. I will hear arguments, but that is the truth.

NO, "Before I created you in your mothers womb I knew you." God abhors murder, this nation will pay for the butchery that it has allowed to take place for the past 40 years. The blood of these children will be avenged on this country. Justice black death burst the gates of hell wide open for his demonized verdict that sentenced millions upon millions of pre-born children to death.

Sure. A true Christian, as I was taught, should respect everybody and love everybody, including those who make decisions different from the ones that they themselves would make. Believing that a woman has the right to choose what goes on in her private life and in her body couldn't be a sin, because it's nobody's business but her own. People need to worry less about what other people do and more about what they do. If you don't believe in abortion, don't have one, but don't tell me what I can and can't do with my body. This question confuses me on several points, one of them being that many people I know who consider themselves TRUE Christians support this unjust war and support the death penalty. Can a TRUE christian be anything but liberal in his political views? I mean, look at Jesus...he was about as liberal as they come.
