If the Bible is wrong, wouldn't you want to know???? The bible may have been inspired by God, but it was written by man, and I trust no man to tell the truth. Don't you Creationists want to know if the people who wrote the Bible were being truthful. If I was going to devote my entire life to a being such as God, I would want to make damn sure I was right. Science may one day be able to verify if God does or does not exist. Wouldn't you want that verification??????

Creationists believe the world is about 2000 years old....Even though there are TREES that are older then that. Weather or not a "God" does or does not exist should be investigated. I think that would be a very important discovery. That way people wouldn't have to base there belief on "faith"

Faith is just a belief in something without proof. Nothing more. I could believe that people have the ability to fly but without proof what good is that?

Some people believe that Jesus is the son of God but no proof of the existence of Jesus has been proven. There was over 50 prominent historians who lived around the time Jesus supposedly did but non of them ever mentioned him in there writings. Also nobody has ever been able to explain how or why the story of "Mithra" is almost an exact replica of the life of Jesus. The story of "Mithra" was around a few thousand years before the story of Jesus.

All we can do is to keep searching. Go where no man has gone before....that sort of thing.

I don't hate science. It has provided many answers to questions that I have had in the past and will do so in the future. Life has been made vastly easier by scientific discoveries. Science has never been a problem it only shows how great a Creator we have.

Just look at how many steps it takes for DNA to be passed down from cell to cell in the correct order. Or how one sperm and one egg joining together at conception can grow into a baby born as unique as everyone else that has ever been born, yet still having the traits of both parents.

Do I want to know if the Bible is true? I've studied it for years and have found it to be true when examined with the same principles that any good scientist would use. Is God real? As real as you or me and my proof is found in my experiences, my hearing of His still small voice, and the experiences of others as they relate them to me.

As I even have suggested earlier, maximum creationists are monotheists and as such have confidence that their god 'created' each and every thing in simple terms is it states of their mythology books. (i.e. the bible, Quran, etc...) technological expertise has shown time and time back that their man or woman mythologies are in simple terms that...myths. The solar grow to be no longer created after the earth. the international...and the finished universe is a lot, lots older then the 6,a hundred years that their books depict as is humanity. As such, their faiths, based on the mythologies of their books might nicely be laughed at. the respond is to declare that technological expertise is incorrect and faith is certainty. In different worlds, Creationists that ignore approximately technological expertise at the instant are not something yet fools and idiots. Statements like "what I hate is whilst human beings attempt to apply technological expertise to reply to questions it wasn't designed to reply to." is in simple terms par for the course? What questions isn’t technological expertise "designed" to reply to? the only answer to that question is 'mind's eye'. technological expertise is commentary and the implementation of strategies according to those observations. Is their a god is an straight forward scientific quarry with a incredibly straight forward answer. NO! IS their every physique widely used definition or set of parameters for god which would be considered emanating from all cultures by way of history. No. Is their every physique center set of legends that reappear time and time back international huge even in distant, unrelated areas? No! Is their ANY scientific information that there is, grow to be or may be a god or gods? No! Then to take it one step better and prepare hypothetical situations. in case you assume that there is a few divine being, a author, is their any information (exterior every physique man or woman religions 'holy texts') that anybody god is in certainty the genuine god? back, even then, the respond isn't any! So, the long and the wanting it particularly is that god is a delusion... a lie! some human beings might particularly have confidence a lie then the information and as such, tend to ignore approximately, vilify or perhaps 'hate' something that stands interior the way of their lies, for that reason technological expertise, expertise and certainty. ~~

There is nothing in the bible that explains exactly how the earth and the universe was created. Therefore, believing in evolution does not make the bible wrong. Personally, I think creationism/evolution is being misused on both sides. Atheists use evolution just to stick it to the theists, and the theists cling to creationism a little too blindly. There is some overlap, though. I personally believe in evolution, but that mankind is not a complete product of it. Evolution endows creatures with what they need to survive, nothing more. How then are we able to build space shuttles and go to the moon? We apparently have far more brain power than we need to just survive. There must be a missing piece of the puzzle.

People who are ignorant are often hostile to science--or any sort of real knowledge. Fanatics sentanced Socrates to death. Christian extremists burned the library at Alexandria (4h century). Marco Polo was threatened by the then religious conservatives because his travel reports conflicted with their parochial view of the world. Galileo was punished by te Chruch for arguing against the Ptolemaic System ( which wasn't even Christian!). When Joeseph Lister first sed anesthesia to ease pain during operations, he was condemned for "defying God's will" that people suffer pain. Today, the religious right not only attack science over evolution, but allso geology, physics, environmentalism, even space flight (still haven't figured that one out!).

The willfully ignorant fear and envy those who are willing to make the ffort to learn and grow. It has nothing to do with their "beliefs"--that's jsut the rationalization they use.

I love science. I just don't love the hypothopseudoscience that many think is fact.

Science is the study of fact. Too many are ignoring crucial facts of science because it doesn't fit their hypothopseudoscience and then getting all lathered up because some of us don't agree with it.

It's a straw man, created to scare us into all sorts of false scenarios.

There are many Christians who can read the Bible and appreciate science simultaneously. This has been the usual tradition with Christianity, but there seems to be more conflict in recent times. The literal interpretation of the Bible is a more recent way to read it, and it is not in the original tradition of Christianity. (I took one class devoted just to this subject to earn my religion major.)

Anyway, it seems that Creationists hate science because they choose to read the Bible literally, and because this is a weak interpretation that conflicts with science, they need to attack science to assure their correctness.

Because it is further disproof of a doctrine they live by, Biblical literalism. The apologetics could whitewash the vast inconsistencies in the Bible, but then reality was also shown to be counter to their doctrine. Despite this, there is no lie too big for them to use in defense of their discredited doctrine.

I lost ocunt how mnay times this question has been asked. We do not hate science. Bless your heart. Maybe you should get a hobby or maybe find something meaningful to do. Why do you care. BTW there about 20 books available that used science to prove the existence of God. Get a life
