then why has he never healed an amputee?!!?!?!?!?!

Apparently he's biased. He heals people with cancer every hour of the day....

I find it funny that Christians like to say that God heals only the things they don't understand or can't see/haven't been thoroughly studied and understood by science. How many Christians have you known that have prayed for someone who lost an arm to regrow one?

They don't......even though their all powerful God should theoretically be able to do it. Interesting.....

Lol yes yes. It shows you how dense a person is. There always exceptions in those silly cults. The exceptions are the only one that don't ignored, and infact they are praised that in some small minor way reinforce, justify the religion to infact infect more people. you most likely know the drill of the christian minds. Thats also a good antireligous arguement you invented there.

I do not think you know what you are talking about.
Jesus healed people while on the earth to show people what he would do AFTER Satan is abyssed (has not happened yet).
The fact that some people are cured by the medical community and some Christians say it was God, is not giving due credit to the God goven intleigence of man to be able to find cures for some.
After Jesus returned to heaven, for a short time, the healing powers were extended to his disciples, as ;proof that they had God's backing. All this healing was done away with as the fact that the truth was supported by God had been firmly established.
I find it a little bit insensitive for some Christians to claim that God healed them, thus suggesting they somehow had more favor than the faithful that did not get healed, and proclaim this in front of news cameras.
Does not this suggest that (if it were actually God doing the healing, not just circumstance) that God in his powers is arbitrary and insensitive?
No. God is not performing miraculous healings today, except in the form of giving people the full truth as the spiritual food that will see them into the new world where in fact all illness and human frailty will be doen away with.

Well, neither you nor I know that he has categorically never healed an amputee.

But, understand: God operates according to his promises. He promises that this is NOT the time-and-place where all things are restored for all time. That place and time is different. And it is for us who operate in faith to receive that.

I have a good friend who is an amputee. That person was very bitter for a time; yet when finally trusting in God, became confident and overcame many of the things that were troubling about being an amputee. Today, my friend has a healed heart/soul, which is of greater value than the missing limb.

Amputation is not the worst thing that can happen. Being eternally lost is the worst thing that can happen.

We actually have the power to do so. But we have to have the faith of a mustard seed. We just dont have that.

I believe Gods will sometimes is to heal people.

I dont believe in healers. The miracle water, ect. They heal these people of all these things in front of tons of people. Why then dont they go down to childrens hospital and work their wonders? Because, they would be found out!

I think God has been thinking about you for some time. I think He thought you were the person He needed to show what being an amputee was all about so you could be a person represented others>

Once again, why do atheists think that anyone would have the capacity to truly understand God's work. Just because God doesn't fit into your understanding of anything does not make him a fairy tale. Think bigger, he created everything, stars, matter, everything. Look outside the box!

It is my understanding that one's faith must be strong enough to believe it can happen. So maybe, people don't ask b/c they don't believe it could happen. I believe God could heal an amputee if it would serve His purposes. That is an excellent, thought provoking question you ask.

I was told this once.....if God did something so supernatural so that the world will see his true power (such as regrowing and arm), the world will still find another way to explain it)
