My best friend complains about being dizzy constantly, and she says it's been like that for months. I'm really worried, and she says when she stands up (not even very quickly) she has blacked out before. She eats fine, sleeps plenty, so I'm not sure what could be wrong. She's told her parents and they just said that it would go away. But it hasn't. Please help.

I would have her go to a doctor immediately. Most likely she is having problems regulating her blood pressure, but it may be something else. Since this has been going on for a few months it obviously isn't going away.

Signs of blood pressure problems are dizziness and blacking out, especially when going from sitting to standing or even from lying down to sitting.

First cause would be not enough water every day which then allows her blood pressure to run low and cause the fainting. Second, she probably needs to have a complete blood count (CBC) run to see if there is any anemia causing this. Next, she should be eating some protein at every meal. The increased daily water intake may be all that she needs to fix this problem. But, if her food intake is very low (even with healthy foods), she may not be providing enough fuel for her body to operate and vitamins will not help. My suspicion is she does not take in enough fluids each day and once she changes this, the fainting will stop.

Yeah, she's lying when she says she eats well. It could also be some stress disorder. She needs to go to a doctor though. There can be serious disorders at work here.

Time for a doctor visit. Could be blood pressure or something in her ears or something completely different.
