I am American, born and raised. I do not believe that Jesus is God. I am a Pagan. I think that yes, Jesus was an actual person and had a good message to send out to everyone but I do not believe that he was the son of any god or goddess.
I fully excrise my right to freedom of religion.

Well I wonder where you got that idea; that we began this country to get away from organized religion? In fact, that's the first time I've heard someone declare that. It isn't in any history books that I've read.
The colonies were full of people who were getting away from those who stopped them from having religious freedom. That's different from what you just said.
The problem that those that lived in those times had was that governments were making certain churches "official". In that what they had to say was true, and often was enforced upon those who dissented.
The reason why our country became so great is because God made it that way. That's right, we gave Him the credit for things that happened to our country that made it great amongst the worlds other countries.
For those of us who still recognize that as being a fact, we are what Jesus called, " the salt of the Earth." A preservative in olden times.
So next time you wonder why we are so dumb, realize that it's because we recognize God as being the truth. If your country does the same, it will also become great. God works where there is faith.
Maybe we are not so dumb after all!

No actually, our country was founded so we would have freedom of religion, among other things. You can think whatever you want, I suppose. But I believe that Jesus is God, and I KNOW that it's true. And I haven't been brain-washed, I've been blood-washed. And while I'm trying to say this in the nicest possible way, I just want to know, what's wrong with you that you just have to come on here and completely make decisions without clear evidence, since you apparently don't know every American, or at least me.

I'm guessing you must be from somewhere in Europe. The church that I belong to also has congregations in all of these countries: Albania, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Boznia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Scotland, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and Ukraine.
So what country not listed above are you from that doesn't have any organized religion?

Good questions Kristina ! 1) God is the Trinity: God The Father, God The Son, God The Holy Spirit. 2) What makes you a Christian ? be letting Jesus Christ be Your Lord, Protector and help You to be Your best ! 3) Jesus is Lord God ! see answer 1 as God is made up of 3 Entities in 1. Jesus is also the known as "The Word" (the bible) 4) Jesus came to Earth to be our Messiah (meaning the Chosen one or Saviour, to deliver us and save us from hell - and hell can be hell on earth if one doesn't have strong faith in Jesus. You are right ! 5) Don't worry about negative things you see on Yahoo, like your going to hell if you do this or that, or youre a sinner if you do that, remember Jesus already came to Earth as a man in the flesh and did away with sin ! That is power that overcomes anything and everything negative !

Blow up a train someone you know was on lately.
If you recall a LOT of American blood was spilled on the beaches of Normandy to save countries 7,000 miles away across and oceans. We didn't have to get into that war, you know.
We could have Let Hitler V-2 you until there was nothing left but rubble.

I don't believe Jesus is God. It's kind of foolish to say that all Americans are brainwashed to believe Jesus is God, unless you've met all of us.

We seem dumb to you because you, yourself, are dumb.
Not all Americans believe that Jesus is God.

Not all of us are that dumb - but too many are. As Jefferson noted, religious sects came over here to escape persecution, and promptly began doing it themselves.
