Because he is all powerful, all knowing, and loves us. Oh, wait, he doesnt forgive everyone? Well then he cant be all powerful and love us, eh?
Pretty much, the train of though shoudl go like this: god puts people in hell, because of sin. God is all powerful and loves us, but he does not remove that sin or allow us to be in heaven without sin. He does that because he is too pure to be seen with sinful souls. But again, why doesn't he remove sin? Why can't he be seen with sinful souls? Will it destroy him? Then certain physical or spiritual laws apply to him and he is not all powerful, so why call him god. Will we perish? If god is all poweful and loves us, why doesnt he change that natural/spiritual law?
Now they will say something like you have to accept jesus christ, whereby he loves us conditionaly, or at least saves us from eternal damnation and horror conditionally, which does not seem like a loving trait. Or you can get the religious short circut, which is pretty much the "i just have to have faith." Absolutley pointless because common sense has now infiltrated their "god box." Or the "you must be sorry for your sins." I am sorry for my sins, but have not accpted jesus christ, accoriding to the bible, i go to hell.
The only conlcusion to be reached is that god either is not all powerful, and thus is not god, or god doesnt give a crap about us, so why worship him?

Because people that disrespect his Holiness by telling him to Foff still need to find what it is like to be loved.
I believe people that have never really found love, peace and contentment in their lives find it too hard and unpleasant for the few that have. Therefore they lash out at anything that might help them find the love they are searching and longing for. I believe after awhile it becomes easier to condemn others than to commit themselves to anything but a live full of sadness, frustration and hatefulness.
These are the people that would lose out on the the process of ASKING for forgiveness. If God just forgave everyone without them asking, then they would not truly be thankful for the blood shed for them, or the sacrifice that God made for them. Therefore they would not have to admit to their hostilities, hatred, shameful behavior and using the Lord's name and Holiness in an inappropriate manner.
THAT'S JUST MY OWN PERSONAL OPINION!

God is not a God of Chaos, He is a God of Order and Law. I will liken this to preparing for a job, lets pick, for instance, being a lawyer. You have to have a bachelor's degree to begin with in a pre-law or a related field and you have to fulfill certain requirements and fulfill the right courses and get the right grades. You don't get into Law School without fulfilling that requirement. And then after you get into law school, you have to study and pass the courses there to graduate law school. Then after that you still have to pass the bar exam. If you want to be a lawyer, then you do all that.
If you want to be associated with God, Angels, and Saints in the next world, then you fulfill the requirements. But can you do it alone? no, because the requirements are beyond your abilities because no sin or imperfection can dwell in Heaven; and so God fulfilled the requirements for you and paid your ransom through His Son Jesus Christ. But do you get that without any effort on your part? No. you still have to fulfill the requirements. And what are they? First is Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and the second is repentance, which involves forgiving those who sin against you for one thing. Some people say the third involves baptism with water and with fire through the Holy Spirit. I am of this belief. Other's say that a prayer of faith and repentance is all that is necessary. I am not going to argue baptism here. But then comes the trusting in God that He will fulfill and HAS already fulfilled His promises to you. But you have to fulfil YOUR requirements. You cannot earn your way to heaven by service and good works, that can only be done by your savior and it is a free gift throuth faith. But you show your faith BY your service to others and your good works are crowns on your head at the judgment day.

What makes you think God does not forgive everyone? He forgives anyone who is truly sorry for the sin they have committed, and who truly will try not to ever commite them again. You really have to truly be sorry for them.no matter what they are God will forgive and forget all sins. You cant forgive someone who does not care what harm they do to others, or we would be living a hell on earth with nothing but a bunch of demons ruling over us, and God wont let that happen to his good children. Why should the bad with no remorse inherit the kingdom of heaven?

God allows us to make decisions. We make either good ones or bad ones. Some people make really bad ones. God forgives anyone who truely believes in him and asks his forgiveness. Some people think that they can do whatever they want and then ask God's forgiveness to wipe their record clean. Wrong. If they truely believed in God's teachings, they would not have made the bad decision in the first place. The ten commandments are gods rules for making good decisions. They are really quite plainly written and easy to follow. Study them and follow them and you won't have to even think about being forgiven again, you will just know.

God DOES forgive EVERYONE. Even though you are forgiven doesn't mean you will automatically go to heaven. The Bible is very clear that the only way that you will get to heaven is for you to fully believe in Jesus Christ. John 3:16-18 says:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life."
17"For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."
18"He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

No one can honestly answer that. God judges the heart. Hitler may have repented with a truly contrite heart and trusted in Jesus Christ just before dying. None of us are any better than Hitler. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). John 3:16-18

He does, we just have to ask.
God created the world with spiritual laws. Even God will not go against his own laws. One of his laws is that the wages of sin is death. He made provisions for us to escape this law by taking death in our place. The only stipulation is that we must ask for His forgiveness. It's a pretty good deal if you think about it.

If you made something, gave it life, gave it everything in the world it needed to be happy, healthy and live a long and prosperous life and it decided it didn't need you, didn't want you, didn't even believe you existed, and could live just fine without you, would YOU want to just forgive, let that individual go to Heaven, be done with it and then F-off? Sounds kind of ridiculous to me.
We humans have been given life by God. We've been given this earth to live in and many chances with a clean slate at birth to live a good life. God has made His presence known to us and has shown His love for us in a multitude of ways. We then have the audacity to screw up our lives and blame God for it, screw up other people's lives and those people then blame God for it instead of placing blame where it belongs (with those who screwed up their lives), and we bring sin, disease, famine and death and destruction to our world through our sin. God made the world perfect and safe. Only when mankind chose to sin did God allow Satan to bring the bad things in this world that we blame God for. God doesn't want robots. He wants us to appreciate Him for what He has done for us and for who He is. That is not too much to ask. He wants us to take responsibility for the choices we make in our lives instead of blaming Him for everything that goes wrong. He wants us to do things HIS way because He is our Creator and He knows what's best for us. When we, in our arrogant, stupid pride, decide we can do things better our own way and we can live by our own rules and to heck with God, then why is it that we think God should F-off as you say and let us slide into Heaven after the way we have unappreciated Him and taken Him for granted and pretty much spit in His face?

Because that would make God corrupt. All sinners must pay the pentaly for their sins, unless they turn their life over to Jesus who has paid the price at the cross. The only way to receive his sacrifice is to put your trust in him, and not yourself. This relies on being humble and not self rigteous which is way most people don't.
