Goosfaba, maybe it's because we ARE everywhere, or maybe you're just noticing that were ARE everywhere. Us Witches have ALWAYS been around, only we refuse to hide anymore, posing as run of the mill people on the street. WE are NOT the Evil "devil worshippers" that SOME folks would have you believe and we REFUSE to allow THOSE people to marginalize us any more. You would be totally surprised to find out just exactly WHO ARE Wiccan and you WILL be as more and more of us decide to stand up for ourselves. There are a LOT more of us than you ever thought possible and we ARE growing in number every day. Do you know that the total number of Wiccans DOUBLES every 3 to 5 years and that there are OVER 3 million of us in the United States alone? So it stands to reason that you WILL meet more of us as time goes on. We are teachers, nurses, doctors, lawyers, Cops, judges, politicians, scientists and so on.
We hav e remained hidden since the "Burning Times" and it's only in the last 15 or 20 years that we have been "coming OUT of the Broom closet to take our rightfull place in Society. We will no longer allow ourselves to be marginalized and pushed back into the dark shadows. We have a RIGHT to practice our Religion and are doing so NOW in open view fo all. We have nothing to hide and we wil no longer accept the condemnation of the big 3 Religions of the World. We have been persecuted long enough and we are NOW standing up and being counted as members of society in our own right.

Do you live in an area heavily populated by Wiccans? You may have many interests that Wiccans share with you, which causes you to be in the same places or events.
Otherwise, you probably run into them as often as everyone else, but you are aware of what Wicca is so you know that you're meeting Wiccans.

we're just everywhere I guess, I wish I were as fortunate- there are mostly fundie Christians where I'm living right now.

Perhaps it's ESP. Or maybe you have a deep seeded root of wiccan ancestry that is trying to come out, the latter would be the most likely
