It is something like a chain 1 leads to other so it is better we start or experiment with our home.

There is a proverb in Telugu
Inta gelichi
Raccha geluvu

Mean Win in the house
then win in the public

It's kind of a utopian dream that's at least possible. The idea is that these harmonious kids will know how to handle conflicts and be a good example and create more understanding and peace which will extend throughout the world.

Thing is, they are really up against quite a challenge because other kids are being taught to isolate themselves from the non believers and be at war with these people instead of being taught to be tolerant and embrace diversity. And be the good neighbor Jesus talked about. Home is a good place to instill these true Christian values in our youths. We'd be helping to heal the world with the fruits of the spirit and the qualities of love in I Cor. 13.

Peace!

Home is the abode of the family, which is a cell in society. Healthy cells result in a healthy and balanced body. Unhealthy cells lead to disease and discomfort. The lady of the house is indeed equipped to be the center of this family unit, physically, emotionally as well as spiritually. All children are born to HER not to the daddy! All children suckle her to give them life AFTER they are born and they bond immediately with mom. I remember when our first child was born, the love both mother and child had for each other as they looked at each other as milk was being served.

Fathers are the defenders of the home, the outside shell of an egg, whereas moms are the whites of the eggs and children the yolk and essence, the connection to the future.

Thus, in a good home all parts will perform their jobs in the manner they are meant to be performed. The father has to earn the living, so that the rest of the family and himself procure food and turn it into filth, procure clothes to turn it into rags, buy toys, pay fees, rents/mortgages loans etc, which all vanish into thin air. Whereas the teachings, way of life and culture is transferred to the children, which last a lot longer than the earnings that a father brings. Many times in the old days mothers used to stay at home and transfer this continuity and knowledge to the next generation in a relaxed atmostphere, which lead to peaceful societies.

Today the mom also works or has to works and suddenly the center of the family is running after the ephemeral and the mundane, thus the structure of the family is weakened. This leads to various forms of dysfunction.

In our old Indian way of living the father could not enter the kitchen and the mother generally did not work at least in the larger cities which determined the cultural direction of the country. This tied both husband and wife at the stomach level. The wife depended on the hubby to earn so she could eat, and the same applied to the man. When this basic arrangement was tampered with, then divorces began to happen and the sanctity of the family slowly disintegrated, especially in the West and those who are influenced by the West of the modern era.

Ultimately when you do not have harmony at home, it slowly leads to frustrations, lack of vigor and lust in life and depression. All these have a cumulative effect on individuals which slowly seeps into public life with the display of selfishness. This selfishness ultimately tranfers to the national psyche, where taking is put above giving, leading to disagreements, wars and economic calamities.

I hope this makes sense.

Searching for world peace, forget it! Indeed, we all look forward to harmonizing relationships not only at home but in all spheres of our lives.Harmony in the house is the exact model of heaven the land of peace, happiness and prosperity.
But this period has long passed out and we in a period of total darkness also known as hell - the forest of thorns and the jungle. So, for one to expect to have peace or waste ones time, resources and energy searching for world peace is akin to finding water on the desert.
Harmony at home is the ideal thing mankind should strive to cultivate and it is achievable but world peace can never be achieved no matter how hard we beat our heads.
It is like asking God for rain water in the dry season. It is just not possible. It is the times we are in that determine the situations on the ground.
The period of peace, happiness and prosperity has come and gone and we are in a different period altogether (hell) where all you see is nothing but death, pain, sorrow, wars et al.

The way to bring peace to the world is to first bring peace to the individual, then they can spread it out from themselves.
In the present time, the arising healing energy is the feminine - it is needed to teach global societies how to cooperate and share. This begins in the home. And this is why we will continue to watch more and more women step into positions of power. If we continue with the masculine compete and conquer, we will wipe each other and ourselves out.

It is not the harmony in home leading to world peace !!. It is your behaviour, attitude, mannerism etc.. , as a result of harmony at home, expands outside and leads to peace. If we are good to others, I am sure, they will be good to us too!!. harmony is again a result of friendship, behaviour and attitude.

Guru Ravishankar said, if you have ego, please expand that ego so that you start feeling that everyone else in the world belongs to you ! that is great thinking.

This is my opinion and No debates on this.

Put one crystal of sugar in a pot of water. Taste it. It does not taste sweet but the sweetness of that one crystal has not vanished. Now put two crystals and taste it. Then three and then four and move on. Slowly the water begins to taste sweet. Life is like a cauldron of bitter water.Every individual can change the world by changing his personal circumstances. Home is the place to begin.
