Christians and Atheists?

Christians and Atheists seem to always be attacking each other in this forum. When I direct a question to Christians, I get thousands of replies from Atheists saying "god isn't real" and the occasional idiotic slur from a Islam saying "praise allah"
Where are all the other religons?

girlwonder - haha no. Allah and God aren't the same. I'm not a Islam. They read the Quran. I read the Bible. Big difference dude.

Christians should never present God in an attacking manner. He told us to be quick to listen, slow to speak and anger.

It is difficult because of our flesh and human nature to hold back when one is so arrogant in their remarks.

I for one am guilty of it and am sorry if I have turned anyone away from God because of my response that may have been presented harsh to those who do not know me personally.

You are correct about Islam allah is not the God of the Bible. Jesus is not allah and therefore we do not see eye to eye on doctrine. I still understand that they are brought up in that religion and it is passed down through generations.
We do not win them over by attacking their religious beliefs or attacking any non-believer.

If God has not drawn them for one reason or another we need to accept that and move on to those who are seeking Him and genuinely asking for answers. If we do not have the answer we are called to find it and give it.

I love the cartoon avatars many of the atheists have. The old adage, ''a picture is worth a thousand words' come to life. Too humorous. They must be kids still living with their parents. Their commentary is often outside the absurd box. They try to be as repugnant and obnoxious as they can. I guess they are incapable of any understanding. The good thing though is they are off the streets and I think we Christians should show them some kind heartiness more often. Don't get upset with them. They are too immature and funny. Well I think that Atheists answering back "God isn't real" even though you directed the question towards Christians is completely understandable! Think of it this way. If you asked a question like "Why does 2+2=5?" and you directed it towards retards...do you not expect rational people to answer "2+2=4 not 5"

It 's like this as I see it.

After you get it out of your system to complain and maybe participate in the the revelry, learn to grow.

What did Jesus tell us to do? Preach the Gospel.

What did Jesus and the disciples do? Meet with contentious people.

So read where Paul and others met with contentious people and see how they dealt with it, then apply what you learned from their example.

Grow in strength of the word. It's sort of a practice ground to see how many different ways you can apply the Gospel message to those who ask about it.

How is a Muslim offering praise to your god (you worship the same god, you know) a slur?

You worship the same god, it;s common knowledge. Allah is the Arabic word for god, and the Koran specifically says that their god is the same as the one of the Christians and Jews. I'm sorry if you don't believe it, it's true.
