If you like Shania Twain, how about "From This Moment". It's a great first dance song for the bride and groom. Congratulations and best wishes!!

How about Etta James "At Last..My love has come along..." or that song by lighthouse "You and Me", that song always has me tearing up ^_^ hope this helps ;) and since u love Shania Twain then how about "you're still the one" especially if you guys have had some really hard times and made it out together! ;) that is very romantic.

Wow everyone looking for songs, I guess my advice worked the last time because it gave me best answer :) But seriously back to your question. I was in the same situation because I wanted a song that was unique, special, not played out on the radio but most important gave a message of love and what the day meant. So I came across this song and it was perfect, the words reminded me of how loving and special a wedding was,
Here's the link (click on the samples) http://www.wedalert.com/media/indiana/tc...
Here's the lyrics:

I really hope this helps a second time around, it did for me and someone else. Congrats and good luck.

Our song was "At Last" by Etta James. It's a classic! A family member used the theme from the movie The Princess Bride. It's a little long, but you can cut it down.
Steven Curtis Chapman has a song called "I Will Be Here" - It's a beautiful song - he's a Christian artist.

nicely I very own wanna do some thing greater upbeat for my wedding ceremony...I actually have a stevie ask your self music in strategies. there is a lot of kinda "corny" love songs to bop to...i've got been to a marriage the place the bride and groom danced to journey's "Faithfully". it would be a music that the two savour inspite of the undeniable fact that. can not help you with the bridal occasion dance music, yet a good mom and son music is Boyz II adult men's "Mama music"...I nonetheless tear as much as on the instant time, 7 years later, each and every time I hear that music by using fact it jogs my memory of my bro dancing with my mom and the lyrics are very soulful, and its the certainty how a son (could) feels approximately his mama.

here are a few ideas....
Sea of Love (a remake by Cat Power)
this song is simple, beautiful, and classic made into something new
Cloud Nine (John Legend)
My sister danced to this song and it was amazing...so intimate and so special...a very powerful song
By the Way they Dance (Jump Little Children)
the singer of this group has a beautiful, smooth voice...
they wrote this song specifically for one of their band members who was getting married...
Good Luck and congratulations on getting married.
Live long and love well...

My favorite love song is by Whitney Houston. It goes something like "I believe in love, I believe in miracles, and baby your my dream come true" The song is called "I believe in You and Me". Its a true love song.
Its off the soundtrack from "The Preachers Wife"
Im 42 yrs old and maybe you would like something hip hop or something like that, but I absolutely love this song. If I ever get married, I will have it sung at my wedding.

Pick a favorite movie that you watched with your one and only true love, and listen to the sound track.
My husband and I danced to a disney song...You've got a friend in me. People stopped in their tracks and just smiled and still comment on how cute we looked.
