Okay, so there's this boy, and we talk alot, even though I do most of the talking. He's always flirting with me. He's such a sweetie. But he recently found out I was crushing on him, and said he just wanted to be friends. He's a year and a half older than me, and that was part of the reason he didn't want to date me right now. Aside from the fact he has a girlfriend...but i knew that going in. I wish he'd stop flirting with me if he didn't like me that way. I really like him, though. So I had to tell him that it apparently wasn't going to work out this summer and that I'd get over him. and so now we're just friends. But it's truly breaking my heart. He enjoys talking to me and told me a secret. We hang out a lot, and have a bunch in common. Is he interested at all??? Or was he ever??? if he's not, I wish he'd just stop talking with me and flirting.

some guys flirt with anything with ****...butttttt he seems like he does like you but doesnt wanna ruin his relationship with his girlfriend...and plus maybe he does wanna wait until you both are a little older and age doesnt make as big of a difference...wait around for him...but take a page out of his book and see other ppl while you are waiting...

As mean as this may sound, some guys flirt and don't even realize it. But if he's just going to play with your feelings, then it's not worth it.

Honestly... theres no clear answer to this. He probably just likes you as a friend, but it's hard to say without actually knowing him. Give things time and it'll work out the way it's suppose to. good luck!

It sounds like he's doing what he said -- being friends with you. It really is possible for a boy and a girl to be friends without a romantic relationship getting involved. However, if it's difficult for you to be friends with him, it's best to distance yourself.
