Revelation 12: 10-11
10) And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of Christ: for the accuser of the brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11) And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Have you overcome in your life, so you can see others overcome and be set free as well? This is the time people to humble yourselfs and get busy in the work that God has called us too! Pray in the spirit / stay in His presence, God will give you direction.<><

I am a true believer in Jesus Christ, absolutely. I know we are to walk with Him and I am glad to do so. To live like Him, love like Him,, and speak like Him, without fear or compromise absolutely. I know that we can overcome by the blood of the lamb, absolutely. When we see thru the eyes of the Holy Spirit, we will overcome as Jesus did, Not even hard to do, as when we do as He says, HE blessed us and gives us the same desires He has, and we will be reviled by the sins of this world.
Yes God has called us to do many things for Him and we must be doing it WE must stay in His presence, and yes He will give us all that we need to do what He is calling us to do.
WE are to be warriors for God, teaching truth and living it and leading others to the knowledge of Him and the gospel. WE arent poor pathetic little sinners jsut barely getting thru in this temporary place. We are to be called saints and we are warriors as we battle the battle for the Lord daily, and so glad to do so.
When we do this anything is possible with GOd. HE even promises us that. amen. ISnt God good? YEP

I am a true believer, and I try to live it. Sometimes I fail as I am human. But what you read on Y Answers is how I live my life.
What I have been delivered from, I can and do help them overcome. This is why our testimony is so important. We can be that example, we have been through it, and we know the pit falls. With this, we can help others.

Yes, I am a true born again spirit filled believer. But that was not always the case. As a matter of fact...if you saw me now, you would not think of me as a christian at all. My hair is way below my shoulders, my beard is a foot and a half long, and I'm covered with ink, dragons and fire, and skulls of the special opps, ( I did a tour in nam ) being consumed in the fire of the dragon. I rode with one of the biggest outlaw bike groups in the world from the time I came back from nam, till about twenty years ago, ( about eighteen years I rode ) then I rode until 2000 befor my phyical body broke down so badly I could not even walk with out assistance. I am now in a wheel chair a lot of the time. And have to take public transportation every where I go. I have ask God to heal me, but God has shown me, in ways other than a voice, or vision, that I am a man of great pride and have been used to having great power, and the dangers of me falling away from the truth are not worth it.

Now I am an ordained minister, ( an evangelist ) of the St. Luke Christian Ministries, I have a ministry that takes me to old bikers, and Vietnam vets, homeless folks and general military people that I am in contact with at the V.A. hospital.

I want to say that sometimes I ask questions just to see how many people in the R&S Y-Answers are slaming God, or that have some other belief system. Sometimes it seems like anything other than christians will be allright.

I understand why you feel this way, like I said, most of my life I was far from being a christian, and for some of the same reasons. I didn't have enough money to be givining it to a rich church that was spending it to entertain other christians. And I sure didn't see any better people in the churches than my bikin' bros. So I stayed away, but the truth is, there was something that would kinda' get me to thinking about God or Jesus sometimes. I didn't know how to take it, but it was there.

In 2003 on the verge of self destruction, tired of suffering from PTSD, ( from nam ) and the now useless body I had to drag around. Under sever depression and at the end of my rope, I fell to the floor and begged God to show Himself to me, if He was real, if not let me die and excape this misery. I ask for a certain thing, a very big thing to happen in my living conditions. It was six months before I received the answer, ( in the time that passed I bought a Bible in easy to read english and began to read it ). The answer to my prayer was exactly as I had ask, down to the color. There was no way I could say that it was anything other than God answering my prayer. Over the years to come I changed from the inside, things that I always loved, but were highly against God's standards, I no longer cared for, as a mater of fact a lot of those things I run from now. Things that are pleasing to God became pleasing to me. I began to love studing the Bible, I couldn't get enough. And you know what? During this time I didn't step foot in a church, it was all between God and me, I had developed a personal relationship with Jesus the Messiah. And churches and other christians had nothing to do with it. I latter found a true Church and thats where I was ordained, but I still don't go to church, I pray all the time, I live with the Lord. And thats the way its got to be for some of you.

I'm not asking you to join a church, or give away any money, or to even hang out with a bunch of misguided christians. I am asking you all to have a personal relationalship with God, through His Son Jesus the Messiah, give it a fair chance. Prayer is nothing more than talking to God as if He were your Father, your loving Father, in the bible, the word that is translated Father is Abba, it really means Daddy. Thats the way God wants you to look at Him.

Don't look toward other christians, they are all sinners like everybody else, But if you will hang out with the Son of God, you will be a forgiven sinner.

God be with you all,
Reverend William M. Butler, St, Luke Ministries

You needed to quote further in Revelations to learn who the "Brethern" are:

Revelations 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

It is repeated once:

14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

And repeated again:

Re 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Are you keeping the Commandments of God? All true believers keep God's Commandments. Including the 7th day Sabbath. All true believers accept Yahshua as the Messiah. One without the other is just false religion.

I see you used the sign of the fish, do you really understand it's origins?

are you really "living the truth"?

I am a true believer....and agree that this is the time to humble ourselves and to be overcomers. The devil knows his time is short and is going to try to bring us down....but our God is stronger! We can become so "busy" that we do not have time to do the work God has for us. We need His direction daily. Thank you for your question.
