I am E-4 pay grade in the TX National Guard, and I was wondering if I get BAH during this time. Is it included in with the normal 1st and 15th pay periods? Thanks a mil!

I am E-4 pay grade in the TX National Guard, and I was wondering if I get BAH during this time. Is it included in with the normal 1st and 15th pay periods? Oh, and yes I have a wife and two kids as dependents. Thanks a mil!

You can go in as an E-4 if you graduated from a 4 year university, which I did.

If you're married, or have dependants, then yes. You'll get BAH included in your pay check everytime you're activated for 30+ days.

unless its changed recently national guard and reserves only get BAH when they are deployed. BAH is for active duty only, and yes active duty get it during BCT if they have dependents
