Just because you don't think it is true, does not make it a lie. I have not believed many things in my life that turned out to be true! I have also noticed that those things are the things that I did not want to be true.
Actually, I continue to find more similiarities between the God/human relationship and the parent/child relationship. My children- the young adult children and the very young children- often don't like the house rules or the established routine. But, when these things are bent or not followed for a length of time; they are miserable, complaining, and blaming others for their predicament. As the routine or rules are followed again, they find peace and positive outcomes from situations in their lives. Knowing that making a correct decision leads to heaven and an incorrect decision leads to hell simply mimics the lessons they learn in life. Life is a series of tests, and people better get this answer correct.

As a Christian, I agree with you. Let's stop the BS.
That is not what Christians say, and that is not what the Bible says. What you have written is misquotes and lies. Although there is a Judgment, and Hell is very real - the way you've expressed it is wrong.
God will only send those to Hell who refuse to ask for His forgiveness. There are no other conditions given.
People who do not believe He exists are not condemned. What the Bible actually says is there is no one who does not know.
The Bible does not say non-Christians will go to Hell. You and I both know people can say they're Christian and not be. Such lies sometimes work on men. They will not work on God.
What the Bible actually says is "I take no delight in the destruction of the souls of men" and "God is not willing that ANY should perish, but that All should come to redemption" and "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life".
Note it says "gift" - as in already paid for! As in it's already yours! The only way to go to Hell is to refuse His gift of forgiveness. How many people refuse God's free gift - which Jesus has already paid for? One is too many. I fear the answer, however, is 'millions'.
Are you one? Only you and God know.

They won't stop until they study the truth for themselves. The wages of sin is death, not eternal life in torment. You are correct that those who promote this horrid doctrine will have to face God some day.
edit: so sad to read the answers above. They take one or two texts and the parable of the rich man and Lazarus and make doctrine. There are literally hundreds of texts that tell us that man is mortal, that the soul of man is mortal, that the soul that sins will die, that the wicked will be destroyed and become as if they never were, the righteous will walk upon their ashes and in the end there will be no more pain or suffering. The most quoted text in the bible tells the truth...John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not PERISH but HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE.

John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
IN the BIBLE
Revelation 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Revelation 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Even if it is true, which I think it is, why do Atheists want to talk about it more than anything? It would seem that they have a resentment against God for doing such a thing.
Don't they know it doesn't matter what they think?

Sooo...you're saying that by telling people the tenets of the Christian religion, you can drive them away? I take it then your strategy is to trick 'em into coming into your church then spring the whole Hell thing on 'em later.
I'll take a pass. I'm sticking with the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

Ok....so where is your proof for this statement?
I know where my proof is that people don't go to Hell...but I want to know if you're such a true Christian, and not worried about the numbers, where is the verses that Jesus forgives all sinners?

That's what the Christians keep telling us free-thinkers! We're all gonna burn. It's so ridiculous that they lose all credibility in our eyes.
What's the real story then?
