NO WAY!!! Our men and women in uniform knew what could happen, but they went out there to fight for a thing called freedom. This is what happens when we go to war....troops die, but they die knowing what they did was for the country they loved.....Freedom comes with a great price. We should honor the troops and be thankful for their service. Bush and Cheney should not be blamed...they don't like the fact that troops have died....but when we have to protect ourselves, we go to war if neccesary...

NO !! Put the blame where it belongs. Open thine eyes. The blame lies on bin ladens cowards. What about the poor little , innocent children that are being killed and injured from their own people ? If the Middle East , would think about what is happening and have a heart for the innocent, the war would end. How can any tribe or group of people cause so much sadness in their own country ??? America is there to help and again the hand is bitten. God bless and protect our American Soldier.

Then we should hold past presidents and vice-presidents likewise responsible for the millions of troops who died as the result of past wars such as WWII, Korea, Vietnam, all the way back to the Civil War.

Should Wilson be held responsible for u.s. deaths w.w. 1
or F D R for the 250,000 that died in ww2
or Truman for the 56,000 in Korea
or Lyndon Johnson for the 55,000+ in Viet Nam.
in ww2 a military base thousands of miles from the U.S. was attacked. the U.S. was never attacked before any of the others. more people died in the 3 9/11/01 attacks in the U.S. than at pearl harbor. we responded by going through the U.N. for authority & waited a year before striking back. what would have been the proper response in your opinion. based on all the other wars YOU have lived through.

OK, for a start this is a volunteer military. Congress allowed us to go to war and frankly I thank God we now have leaders who aren't craving cowards. Its just a shame our men and women are over there laying their lives on the line just so shelfish whiners can sit on the butts and complian about the war!

Your question is ignorant. I'm not saying YOU are ignorant just your question. Who has poisoned your mind to make you ask such a thing? Teachers? Friends? Family?
It's war, kiddo. It's sad and unfortunate that it is happening but we didn't ask for it. It was brought to us by ******* flying hijacked civilian airliners full of innocent people into buildings likewise full of innocent people. And now we are punishing those who carried out this horrible attack. War is not good but sometimes it is necessary.

Yes, they should get their butts to Iraq and lead the charge right now. Bush can wear his flightsuit and Cheney can bring his 28-gauge shotgun.

he is the commander in chief... the buck stops there. He is responsible for all that happens.

We need to keep him accountable and stop signing blank checks for him. American lives are too precious to waste in a poorly planned war.
