"Sí, soy mitad español.
Nací en Australia pero viví en la ciudad de Méxsico hasta que tenía como ocho años.
Este foro es muy divertido. Nadie tiene idea de lo que se trata."

Alex, Alex. Do you think it is so important to appear first? :p do your translation as it is and post it. not the way you did.

Si, soy mitad Español.
Nací en Australia pero viví en México hasta los ocho años de edad. Esta 'cadena' o 'thread' (There is no direct translation for thread so you can use it since it is a computer term) es tan gracioso, nadie tiene ni idea de lo que están hablando.

Everybody translated this already, but did you mean half Hispanic or half Spanish? People in the US use Spanish as an synonym for Spanish-speaker, but when you say half Spanish, to me I believe you are saying one of your family members is from Spain.

In Spanish, if you say "mitad español" that can only mean you have a relative from Spain and will NEVER mean you come from a Spanish-speaking country.
