what can i do to make my trek 7.3 fx faster, lighter and more aerodynamic... i already have carbon fiber forks and seat posts,

I really would not invest too much in this bike right now. If a faster bike is what you want, I would suggest waiting and buying a road bike. Road bikes are designed for more aggressive and fast riding. They are generally lighter and put you in a position more conducive to hard riding.

Change out the wheels for carbon and super skinny tires, put drop handles bars on for increased aerodynamics, change the gears, or just trade it in and get a better bike.

The only thing I would do is to slap on some used aerobars.
Anything more, and you should sell it so you can buy a bike with drop bars. Converting the parts will be too costly.
