well, as for the junk food cravings, thats just self control, if you lay off it long enough, your body should stop wanting it.
About the weight, I'm 16 and about 170 something. I'm only 5'3 1/2 though so thats alot. Your 5'4 so i'm almost positive 120 is UNDERweight for you. Depending on your family's weight and health genetics, you might not lose anymore. If you really want to look thinner that badly though, depending on how you carry yourself will help. Also, depending on what sport you play, 147 is just fine. Alot of weight is made of muscle. It weighs more than fat so you might have burned all the fat you can for now. 147 is a fine weight for someone your height and age. I know alot of people your age who would kill to be that weight. You should be proud of the work you've done, and if you've lost that much over summer, people will be impressed and they will notice when you go back to school, thats how it worked for me. Hope I helped a little.

You are at what they call a plateau. You lost your initial weight and now it's going to be harder for you to lose fat. What you need to do is increase the intensity level. You may be doing 1.5 hrs on the treadmill per day, but your body over the last 3 months has gotten used to it. Now it isn't doing anything. Incrase your intensity, such as increasing yoru speed and incline, even if you don't go an entire 1.5 hours, your intensity level is higher. You might want to try to do say, 10 minute warmup, and then 5 minute intermediate, and then 1 min of high intensity, then lower it, and every few minutes do 1 min of high intensity. Also, weight training is VITAL in developing muscle and burning fat. The more muscle you have, the more fat you burn (and the more fat you burn while your NOT working out). Try to find tasty healthy snacks. Like fruit salad or something, Check out www.bodyforlife.com I have done it and as long as you have the mindset, you can achieve YOUR goals. Good luck

PLEASE, PLEASE do not try to lose more weight than is healthy. There are no good shortcuts for losing weight. Just eat healthy and exercise healthy and you will do just fine. Weight isn't everything. If your friends really care about you they will love you no matter what weight you are.
I'm actually worried by how much you have been exercising; it seems excessive to me. Girls your age are often susceptible to eating disorders like bulimia and anorexia and exercising too much is a possible symptom. If you don't get at least 1200 calories a day, your body goes into "starvation mode" and you will actually undermine your weight loss.
I recommend that you talk to your doctor, who can help you do this in a healthy way. He/she may give you a referral to a nutritionist, who can help you make diet and exercise plans that will help you to have a healthy life.

I am also 14 but going to be a sophmore and really you will realize through your freshman year that it doesnt matter. i was skinny but latley i have packed on the pounds and i dont care. Just search online for some snacks that replace your junk food habits. like instead of whatever just eat fruit like an apple wiht peanut butter and if you like chocolate like me pour a LITTLE onto the apple. it is great but i am not sure how healthy it is but it fills you up. if you get hungry during the day drink water, lots of water. try going online to cosmogirl.com and look at the diet and nutrition plans on the website they have great stuff!also try focusing more towards your abs when you work out.

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.
Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.
U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.

I used to have serious over weight problem for years and I was the kind of people quite easily get sick & tired. Thank god, once I met a new friend in a family gathering and he told me a very good site that I later found so helpful. The site taught me great workouts and diet tips and showed me what I had been doing wrong to address my over weight problem... Here is the good thing and you might wanna to check out more. Good luck!

Learn what healthy foods that make you thin are. Meat and dairy are not healthy and make you fat due to the hormones they put in them. How do you make a hormone? Don't pay her (whore moan). If you gave up all salt for 2 weeks you would lose over 10 pounds. See site for more on what a healthy food is. Yogurt is not healthy and even the non-fat is fattening due to the hormones.

all you really have to do is decrease your intake of saturated fats .your diet should consist of 50% carbs,30%fats and 20% protein.
If you still wana lose weight start doing weights at the gym as well cause this burns off carbs just as well if not better than running.
Eat smaller portions throughout the day (6 portions) instead of 3 large meals.
Basic level of advice,if you want to lose weight you expend more kj than you consume.

muscle milk.. it slims ur body down and makes u toned, it kills all the bad fats.. but yea u might wana start lifting weights too, cause when u loose weight by running and cardio the fat turns into moosh so u need to lift weights to convert that moosh into muscle. and yes muscle is heavier than fat but it doesnt take up as much space.. but be careful not to over do it, stick more to cardio than weights.
