At what age do women start to have wrinkles under their eyes when they laugh (But no wrinkles when they have a straight face)? An addition to lines and light wrinkles under their eyes when they smile. Also at what age do women start to have lines or wrinkles?

I know genes, and the sun plays a big role. But there is a certain age where it’s normal to have them (answer age wise). Also is it normal to have light wrinkles when you laugh?

This person is 21, and people always think she's 14 or 15. But she has like 2 light lines under her eyes (with a normal face). Also light wrinkles when she laughs. She does not smoke or drink, and she uses sun block. Is it normal to have light wrinkles when you laugh (at the age of 21)?

There is a difference between lines and wrinkles.
I am 51 and now have some lines, but no wrinkles yet. I had emergency brain surgery with a long recovery, and had breast cancer with chemo and radiation [ LOTS of stress ]. I am very fair skinned, with freckles, but I eat well, take vitamins, drink lots of water, and use sunscreen, exfoliants, and moisturizer.
One big part is genetics - you inherit skin color, texture, type, and tendency to wrinkle [ or get stretch marks, or get sun spots ].
The second big part is prevention.
a] eat well
b] take vitamins
c] drink lots of water
d] exfoliate
e] sunscreen
f] moisturize
My mom is 73, and she still looks really good!

Just like with men, it varies widely. I am almost 50 and most people take me for 30-35. My whole family is that way. My 30+ daughter looks 21-22, if that.

I have a neighbor lady who is 29 and I think she looks 45, if a day. (I would not tell her though).

It has a lot to do with genes, sun exposure, smoking (which studies show add a lot of line to women's faces) and many other factors. You can even get lines and wrinkles as a teen.

I am 70 and just began to notice my wrinkles about 5 years ago. I have always had good skin and I think it is because I am a milk drinker and used almost no make up.

If you smoke
Wrinkles at about 28

If in the sun alot about 28

Vegetarians get wrinkles fast about 28

If you don't do any of these things, you won't get that many wrinkles until about 38 or older

i think it depends on your genes... my mom just started getting noticeable wrinkles and she is in her late 50's - she still almost gets away with people thinking my kids are hers!!!
