Puppy classes are for socialization and to begin teaching the dog some manners, they also serve to any answer questions you may have. I think it is a good idea because of the socialization your dog gets, plus if you are an inexperienced dog owner it will be helpful if you have any problems with the puppy because you will have a resource to go to for help.

Puppy classes are not usually very expensive and so I wouldn't think it is a waste of money.
To gatorade: maybe if people put a little time and effort into training their dogs they would not need to dump them when they become a problem. A dog may be a dog but it still needs training and socialization for it to be a well adjusted, well mannered pet!!!

It's all just a scam for money. Dogs are dogs, other than being toilet trained and some basic tricks, they don't need anything else. People who do this sort of thing, like owners who dress up their dogs, are really just doing it for their own amusment. It should be considered a form of animal cruelty.
