Once I heard a writer said that if we could understand the logic in peoples brain then nobody was called crazy. As a person who has OCD I must say there is no one on Earth that thinks like I do. I am a very sane person (I have two masters in engineering). I see the world the same as other people do. Only my interpretation and reasoning is different. When I need to think like other people it is like I need to swim against the flow and convince myself it is the flow.

You need to ask the person to change his/her logic and reasoning from the way he is used to. And be honest with you it is not an easy task to do.
