If your 13, then it's ok. Don't make it look SO fake though, kids at school willl make fun of you.

The fact that you are asking this question confirrn you are a good kid and cares for dad's feelings. I am a dad myself and I guess he needs some time to accept that his child is now a grown up. Just as you want to try new ideas, he needs time to adjust to the changes. I suggest a time out for both sides and during this time, you observe when he's in the mood to discuss the issue. You may be surprise the main problem is not hair or color ! Just give time and not rush. Its the best option, I think.

Your mom i yanking your chain about it being bad for kids. It's bad for parent's pocket books to get it started, cuz then it never stops! You'll need to go in for monthly maintenance if you change the color. Stongly recommend against coloring your hair, some highlights and stuff is fine, but full on color change is not good for your hair and starts a viscious cycle of you never being happy with your hair again....

It is not bad to dye your hair and should not cause any serious harm. Most people are not fully grown at age 13 thought.

Yes it is okay, because I started highlighting my hair (myself) when I was 11. Just make sure you go to the salon for your first time and ask if they suggest a brand you could purchase at your local drugstore, to keep it touched up yourself.

Its ok If you have been through puberty, you really shouldn't. Blonde is a lot of up keep and if your mom lets you do it then you will have to keep it up. Just don't use no cheep stuff if your going to do it go to the salon k.

Why would you want to change the color of your hair at 13?I know ;because EVERY ONE ELSE IS DOING IT--RIGHT? Why not be yourself and keep that beautiful color you were born with!!!
