You would have to believe in god/gods, before you can be angry with him/her.
Anger when someone dies, seems like a wasted emotion. You would be better to put all that anger towards something more positive.
Remembrance of that person's life, would be one way. As well, doing some good works, in you loved one's name, can also help you deal with grief.

I am a human being. I have feelings. Anger is one of them. Therefore, on each shock that I experience, I experience a whole host of emotions, including Anger.
If I have anger towards God that I feel for a short time, it dissapates quite quickly, because I am a Forgive Affirmed Spirit and embedded within my belief system is the principle of predestination. Although I concur with my passions within this illusion of choice, I recognize the reality of one Creator and that that means that I am part of that Creator and unanimously agreed to make things the way they are, were and will be, and I can suffer with that and let go as long as I feel I am living my passion which is healing to the best of my ability.
If I carry predestined guilt from not living my passion to the best of my ability, that anger could hang on. But I don't.

I have been lucky not to have lost anyone due to a death. But there was a time that I was angry at God, and hated the world. I don't think it is wrong to be angry at God. I screamed at him and kept wondering why my life was bad. Then realized, it was me. I didn't trust him enough. All that I lived, was my fault.

It is not wrong to be angry at God, but you shouldn't hold a grudge against Him.
I am lucky enough to have not personally experience the loss of a loved one.

I've accepted that we are mortal beings and this world we live in is not our final destination. we are here temporarily so there's no need to be angry with God. He owns our life and He's the one who has the right to take it away. We all shall pass away. pray that we are prepared spiritually when that times comes.

This question is hard to answer, If the loved one has been ill for many years, then I beleive it is time to end the suffering. If the loved on dies for no reason-then yes, I would be mad.

***FROM WHAT religion has been teaching , people have lost their faith, AND become angry at God, not at the clergy(which deserve the anger, for the lies they teach) This is because their minister or priest would say the following & also present twisted ideas of God and his purpose:
--For a Young child --"God needed a rose petal in heaven"--A sick lie!
--"It was his time to go"
--"It was God's will for him to die"
--"Your number is up"
--"He is better off in heaven"
Sayings such as these are based very loosely in that when David stole Bathsheba as a wife and killed her husband.
--God had the prophet Nathan tell David he would loose his son directly because of his serious sin, from God's hand!
--Or they refer to Jobs 3 false comforters and their evil judgements(JOB 4-30) , that God directly punished Job for some alleged sin by having his children killed! But in actuallity it was at Satans hands!(JOB 2)
-They choose to tell untruths about God and tried to convince Job that he deserved what he got!
***Teachings that indicate that God is behind our individual deaths, is a falsehood in that we have inherited death from Adam---and at present just die a natural death of old age!
--Christ dying for mankind is to end Adamic death, that Satan helped Adam to bring on!
(Hebrews 2:14) “. . .Therefore, since the “young children” are sharers of blood and flesh, he also similarly partook of the same things, that through his death he might bring to nothing the one having the means to cause death, that is, the Devil;”
--THE HOPE for mankind is that we will see death done away with and will live forever on earth, in fulfillment of the Lord's prayer "....thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven......" Also this text shows that death will be eradicated off the face of the earth:
(Revelation 21:3-4) “3Â With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4Â And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.””
--THESE CONDITIONS deal only with the earths woes and mankinds suffering on it, FOR IN HEAVEN there has never been dying or physical pain! THUS "the former things have passed away"
***SO THEN if what I have presented is really true, then we have no reason be mad at God, especially since his Son promised an earthly resurrection, once Armageddon is brought on and the wicked are eliminated off the face of the earth--Again in accord with the Lord's prayer!
(John 5:28-29) “. . .Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life. . .”
--THUS humans will not be told lies about God & his needing people in heaven!
