First, no longer all gangs are terrorists. All gangs at the instant are not even criminal -- despite if some are. enable's say all a gang ever does is petty theft (shoplifting) and minor vandalism (spraypainting homes). sure, those misdemeanors are criminal strikes. yet are you heavily saying they upward thrust to the point of "terrorism" -- because of the fact in the event that they do, then each criminal interior the U. S. would could be considered a terrorist. somebody already suggested the Constitutional problems, on the grounds that freedom of association is certainly secure below the 1st modification. And sure, our government has already have been given around that and has convicted human beings of felonies based entirely on who they go alongside with -- with out everyone incredibly having committed the different crime previous mere association. you want to punish human beings basically for social interplay -- chatting with somebody or being of their presence -- despite if neither person has yet committed against the regulation, basically because of the fact somebody else has committed against the regulation. Have we actually long previous so a techniques down the line to fascism which you would be convicted and imprisoned in basic terms on the grounds which you realize somebody who knows somebody else who has committed against the regulation?

Summit County prosecutors said Whiteside was in the V-Not gang. They said he was 17 when he shot an 18-year-old rival gang member. He was tried as an adult.

Well it's sure not getting any better. All you have to do is watch the news...
It's getting worse because many young adults are drawn into the pathetic "gang culture." They go from wannabe gang members to petty crimes, then move on to joining real gangs and getting into things like drug trafficking and all the gang related violence. There just aren't enough cops on the streets to stop all of it, especially in larger cities where poor neighborhoods are common and full of gang activity.

It still exists and is getting much worse. Now the gangs are into drugs, weapons and even prostitution. It is a real nightmare for the cops.

This is a very bad problem in the U.S. even in many small towns. These mostly arose from our immigrant populations, the white gangs formed mainly to retaliate. This is something that will never go away until laws are passed to ban them completely .

I think it's better then 15 years ago.
But with MS-13 growing and the old school gangs around, it definitely is still a problem.
