Raw food is actually about the healthiest thing you can give your cat. HOWEVER, raw chicken that's been sitting around in your fridge for days is probably not good. Cats can have problems with salmonella and e coli just as people can. HERE is a great article about the raw food diet, and how to select and prepare raw food for your cat.

There is absolutly no problem in feeding raw food to cats. Cats are carnivores and proyein is what they should get.
Just feediung raw all the time isn't balanced though unless you specially prepare it. Here's how if you are game!

I do. Two of ours love raw meat (it has to be fresh), two are ok with it, and one doesn't like it at all.

I give some raw ground turkey every other day to ours, just barely warmed in the microwave. They've done ok with it as a supplement to their regular dry food.

The only two problems with raw meats, is that they have much higher fat and protien than any cat food. Some cats may even vomit. Another reason, is if you ate that chicken, would you be concerned with bacteria? If so, deffinately do not feed this to your cat! If you must, at least boil it until the pink is gone.

Raw chicken has salmonella and raw food is not good for cats or kittens. E-coli.

I don't think so, especially if they are used to eating cat food. For instance, if the raw chicken has salmonella in it, then the cats will get sick just as you would. I'm not a vet, but I hope this helps.

RAW? NO! Of course not, in my opinion at least. Why can't you take the time to cook it? Raw chicken is extremely unhealthy for anyone and anything. Especially with all the chemicals used to treat the chicken and the possibility of salmonella and food poisoning. It's a no for me. Foods like that can also seriously distrupt your cats gastrointestinal flow; your cat will get diaherra. If you previously fed it cat food, and now your feeding it raw chicken, your cat's body is not used to that sudden change at all. If your going to give your cats real meat such as chicken, watch out for their safety and at least take a few minutes to cook it.

No! Don't feed them any human food because it could cause them to have an upset stomach or even worse!

i don't think it is a very good idea its not going to be fun when your cats get really sick.
