I ran all the virus removal tools I can find.
I have no Task manager at all.
I hit alt+ctrl+delete and nothing happens

I do not a have a recovery disk
Any suggestions

not sure why you don't have a recovery disk (or not able to hit F10 (or whatever it says) at boot time to run it recovery from there)... if you're computer is just royally screwed (in addition to the task manager thing) I would highly suggest just taking it somewhere and having them reinstall windows on it for you

Right-click on an empty area of the taskbar, and select Task Manager from there. If it is available from there, the cause might be your keyboard config.

yes, use System Restore to restore your pc back to a date & time when you know had the task manager. My mom had this happen and so have I, and it usually indicates there are other problems that need fixed. It's best just to use System Restore and correct it.

**start>all programs>accessories>system tools>system restore.
