Why does it have to be black or white? it is all subjective and I prefer to call my magick green (for healing) and yellow (for divination) as those are the two fields in which I use most of my magick!

There is no such thing as white and black magic. What most people believe is white magic is healing and black would be for binding. However, is binding really a bad thing if you are binding the action of someone about to commit a crime? Its all shades of gray - just a matter of perspective!

The magic I practice I would say is neither black or white. Most of what I do would fall in the white classification but some others would call black. I just do what I feel I need to do and am comfortable with the consequences of.

There is no such thing as black or white magick. Magick is a neutral energy that is directed by the user for good or ill.

in many societies around the world, white is the color of bone, the color of death, black is the color of fertile soil. "black magic" and "white magic" are rather arbitrary labels.
The Wiccan Rede calls for no harm to others, and describes severe karma implications (you get threefold what you do to others); almost all who call themselves witches employ some form of this.

If you follow the Rede, then you must be practicing white magic. I don't really delineate though, too Wizard of Oz for me.

I researched a topic one time for a paper, and that topic was Wicca, the religion. The two Witches that I interviewed hold fast to the creed "And it harm none, do as you will". (That's word for word from her.)
