It is more important to write a curriculum vitae to attach other profiles for employment. The CV tells more about yourself and experience.
In most countries like Ghana CV is most needed for job placement. Most talented and qualified people are denied their employment because they fail to write better CV.

Robert is right in the US you need aresume not a CV. A CV is for academic positions.

Also in the US we do not put personal info (age, gender, marital status, etc.) on the resume, just experience, and KSA's (knowledge, skills, and abilities).

In North America, the term CV applies more to academics.
It is the chronological outline of your education & publications.
What we call the Resume, is the list of work experience.
This should be in reverse chronological sequence.
It shows Job Title, Name of Company, dates from/to.
Preferred date format is Month & Year. Employers look for gaps.
Work experience should use action word descriptions:
e.g. Supervised team of 6, not. Responsible for 6 workers.

Then describe your last job. When You started and when you finished (if you did). Describe your position and the responsibility that you where in charge of. If you grew while in that company you should mention it. Work yourself backward in time. at every step describe the position and your roll in it.

After you covered all relevant about you positions, then describe your professional studies, dates diplomas, degrees etc.

Describe further other courses and studies, like languages, literature, arts etc. Describe all the organizations that you belong to.

And describe your marital status briefly and without Passion.
