That depends on a couple things...

1) Is the CD driver loaded in CONFIG.SYS?
2) Is MSCDEX loaded (usually in AUTOEXEC.BAT)? If so, you should be able to go to that CD drive and do a DIR
3) To start the CD, type D:\SETUP where D: is the actual CD drive. That'll start the install program from the CD.

hold down delete key
look for prompt to make cdrom priority boot
choose it as number one
then it will look for the cd to boot when it starts and you dont need the dos prompt

Run the DOS prompt - START - PROGRAMS - ACCESORIES
c:\>cd e: PRESS ENTER
e:\>setup.exe

Where E: is your cd
