What would happen if Pakistan and U.S.A. went to war?

Depends on the circumstances.

If the USA decided, 'Pakistan has got to go' and uncharacteristically decided to do whatever it takes to accomplish that, it'd be over in about 15 minutes, and Pakistan's nuclear arsenal would be destroyed on the ground.

If the USA persued the sort of strategy it's seemed to prefer for the last 40 years or so, it would first 'warn' Pakistan to do or not do something (that it absolutely had not do or do), try to get the UN to pass some sanctions, coerce a few small countries into providing troops to lend a veneer of legitimacy, and then launch a bombing campaign against various military targets (mostly empty buidling and empty vehicles), followed by a stunningly 'successful' invasion in which it faced no meaningful opposition. Then American cities would start disapearing in nuclear fireballs, as the nukes Pakistan passed to terrorists began being deployed, and the Pakistanis would settle into the horrific routine of a protracted guerrilla war. Some time later (sooner, probably, the more nukes make it to the US), the opposition party (the one not in power at the time the attack occured), would use criticism of the terrible military failure to sieze Congress and the Presidency, then promptly run off and do someting equally stupid.

if we had the right leadership we coul;d end the war in iraq tomorrow, but we dont and tht isnt gonna happen, however, i beliuve that if pakistan bombed the US after the election and the right people come out on top we could solve that problem in minutes... like i said though, that isnt gonna happen eityher way... oh well
