If by 'unoriginal' you mean they adapted to the mythology that everybody had in place,
if by 'unoriginal' you mean they took the power they owned of writing down what they wanted to and not writing down facts they didn't like,
if by 'unoriginal' you mean they just kill everybody who disagrees with what they say,
then i'd say, yes, I'm pretty bored with that.
If by provocation of thought you mean they have ignored logic and accepted what they were taught simply because it was the thing to do, yes, I'm bored with it.
Recently, an uneducated young lady was asked if she could believe in the bible just because somebody told her she should. She said, yes, if God said so. Then she was informed that man wrote the bible. She said, of course, that no one could possibly be that dumb. If even she could figure that out, why do some eduated people profess to believe in all that? The answer is simple. It is the thing to do. People will admire you for it. People who want to get something from you will tell you anything you want to hear, including they believe in your god.

I think that Christianity is unoriginal and lacks the provaction of though, I am more disgusted at it than more. The only semi original concept in it is that there is one God and a peaceful creation and good and evil with salvation or damnation for eternity. After watching the movie Zeitgeist i think that around 2150 a new religion will emerge because of the end of the age of pisces. at the begining of the age of pisces Christianity formed, at the begining of the age of Aries Moses came in with the Judaism beliefs.

IF you are bored with Christainity then I feel that you are not getting its true effects and not getting the fun that I have been having. yes there are times when we are Christains go through hell. But we have to go through hell to get to heaven. Then there are times I can sing to the Glory of my God, go to church events like concerts, amusement parks, comedy shows, gospel music aerobics classes and etc. I dont know where you are or who you experienced Christ with but he was never boring for me. He may have been hard to understand and confusing but most Christian people are because we are taught to be different from others. We are all still human and make mistakes all the time but we have an awesome God who sacrificed death for us so that we can live a blessed life. Whats boring from a God that continual makes away out of no way for me. When I am in a bind he gets me out. If Christianity is boring for you and you are willing, I can tell you a couple of things to do so you can have a great time. It all depends on what you like to do. And I can give you a couple of things to think about in our religion if you want something to peak your interest.

Sorry that you are bored.I understand, but truthfully Jesus was a vibrant person that brought a Life to a spiritually stagnant world. He was followed by thousands in his earthly ministry and billions have followed his call to know him and found more challenge than they could have ever bargained for. Religion is stale and dry with all its tradition but Christ is Life and challenge to those who ask to know him.

it did a fly-by on you, didn't it?
there is little else more thought provoking than the story of God's revelations to man. unoriginal is not a term used for christianity by anyone who is familiar with religions. christianity is not mythology to those who experience it.
if you are so bored, I invite you to stay off of R&S.

jonjon hit the nail on the head. Every aspect of Christianity has been stolen from pagan beliefs, the same pagan beliefs that they preach against. Go figure

hold on now= If you were a born again believer, you would never ask this question- because Christ gives us joy and abundant life. "The myth is unoriginal?" So there are many people that would give their lives for the sin of others? WOW - it is no myth, and one day you will know that for yourself.

No no no, tell me again why Jesus would want me to wear a cross on my neck. Seeing that it took over 30 hours for him to suffocate on the cross from his own fluids in his lungs (its what happens when you are hung with your arms outstretched). If I were JC, I'd detest the sign of the cross.

How is it possible to be bored with being a Christian? And I am presuming you are not one. Honestly without the Holy Spirit to guild and empower me in my everyday life I would be fried!
